Chapter 22 Information Wall

Hobert showed his badge to the guard at the door before being allowed to enter the room with the information wall.

The room was very large, almost the size of a living room at home. Except for one wall which was a window, the other three walls were blackboards.

On the blackboard, there were messages written in chalk. Several club members were reading the messages one by one, with their hands behind their backs or their arms crossed.

The handwriting on these messages is beautiful, suggesting they were written uniformly by the staff sitting in the center of the room.

The most information was about buying and selling. Hobert found information about buying and selling several extraordinary items and several extraordinary materials. There were even people looking to buy some common Sequence 9 potion recipes.

It just didn't specify that it was a potion recipe. Because it was open to all members, the information didn't use words like "extraordinary," but instead used words like "magical." But those who know, know.

Two pieces of information particularly impressed Hobert. One was that not long ago, the fleet of the Fusak Empire ambushed the Rune fleet on the route of the Raging Sea, resulting in the sinking of one of Rune's warships and damage to three other warships to varying degrees.

Another piece of information concerns General Anthony, who, although ostensibly a warlord of West Bayran, seems to have the support of the Fussac Empire behind the scenes.

Hobart paid attention to the previous message because he hadn't expected that there had already been a small-scale military conflict between the two countries. Perhaps this was a prelude to the great war that would follow, orchestrated by important figures like Adam and George III.

The reason Hobert paid attention to the second piece of information was because he remembered that his first "believer," Elliott Balk, was in the territory of warlord General Antony.

Most of the other information is about secrets about the Southern Continent or other countries, such as the infiltration of various countries into Eastern Bailang, or the open and covert struggles in Western Bailang, etc.
