Gothic Punk Isn't For You

Chapter 14 Gothic Punk Isn't For You

"I like challenging tasks."

Allen squinted, waiting for Alessa to assign him a task.

"Collect the two fragments of Floros, combine them, and then destroy them with the Blade of Redemption," Aresa stated directly.

Allen didn't react at all, his eyes fixed on Alessa.

The two stared at each other for a long time.

Alessa felt a chill run down her spine and tentatively asked, "Is it too difficult?"

"Tell me the details of the mission and the key points so I know how to find the mission items. You've been making me guess like this for ages."

"..."

Aresa was taken aback, as if she hadn't explained herself clearly.

In the vast Silent Hill, it is indeed unrealistic for one person to search aimlessly.

"There are two fragments. One is inside the former priest's body, and I can provide the location of her imprisonment. The other is in Krista's hands. She has been hiding in the church, but she has hundreds of believers supporting her. You'll have to figure out how to get there yourself," Alessa said.

"This task is indeed very challenging, and we need to pay more."

Allen stroked his chin as he tried to negotiate.

"The fragments are made of gold," Alessa added.

"What are we waiting for? It is our duty to eliminate cults."

"..."

Guided by Alessa, they passed through several buildings and successfully found a hidden house.

There was a locked padlock on the iron gate, and there were no other entrances.

Alessa hesitated, then reminded her, "There are other demonic forces protecting this place. I can't open the door; you'll have to rely on yourself."

"A minor issue."

Allen cleaved the iron lock with a single sword strike.

An ordinary sword might not be able to cut through a lock ring as thick as a thumb, but when combined with the Shadow Blade skill, the effect is completely different.

At the same time, Alessa was shocked by the power of the sword, which made her feel a sense of threat.

Clearly, the blade was imbued with a layer of supernatural power.

Push the door open and enter.

Inside the closed room, a disheveled old man was imprisoned by several iron locks.

When he noticed someone entering, the old man raised his head, and his cloudy, lychee-like eyes glowed eerily.

Allen exclaimed, "Holy crap, the potential of an emperor, born with double pupils, could you be Shi Yi?"

"Young man, come closer, I have cataracts and can't see clearly," the old man replied weakly and pleadingly.

Allen patted his chest reassuringly and muttered to himself, "I haven't even grown the Supreme Bone yet, and Alessa already made me fight a double-pupiled person one-on-one. Isn't this just giving away first blood? It turns out it's just a half-blind old man. I was making a fuss over nothing."

"Alessa?"

The old man exclaimed excitedly, "It was Aresa, the Demon Child, who sent you!"

"Yes, that's the task she gave me," Allen replied sincerely.

"She is the child of the devil, a liar, so be careful," the old man said in a deep voice. "Alessa definitely sent you to take the fragments of my body and then collect another piece to destroy. Don't do that. If you do, her power will be unrestrained and she will return to her full strength, and everyone will die."

If Allen hadn't seen the second Silent Hill movie, he would have believed the old man's words.

The old man is the monster from the second part who combines two fragments and degenerates into a mutated old man.

Being trapped here is entirely a punishment for failing in the power struggle.

"I've collected one piece. What should I do now? Why don't you keep it for me?"

Allen grinned wickedly, though he didn't actually have any fragments in his hand; he was deliberately testing him with his words.

In the second film, another piece of the puzzle is given by the newly appointed priest to his son, who helps him temporarily escape Silent Hill and bring back the female protagonist, Cheryl.

It is currently confirmed that it is in Christa's hands.

"The cunning Krista is likely to create a fake to cover up the real thing. Let me see if it's real or fake."

The old man eagerly reached out to ask for it, his face filled with barely concealed excitement at the thought that obtaining the complete Floros Badge would give him the power to break free from his predicament.

puff…

A sword pierced the old man's throat.

Allen said with a sly grin, "You actually believed me when I lied to you? You're so naive at your age."

Ahem...

The old man clutched his throat, blood and foam spilling from his mouth, unable to utter a single word. His expression revealed a shift from bewilderment to rage.

With another diagonal slash, he split the neck open to the heart.

A gleaming golden disc is hidden prominently within the heart.

"This huge piece of gold is a steal!"

Allen tore a piece of cloth from the corpse and collected the fragments.

It seems that the power of the fragments must be activated by the believers, and as soon as the old man died, Alessa appeared in the house.

"I overheard the conversation outside. Do you believe him or me?" Alessa asked.

"I'm sorry, I just made a mistake that all men make."

Allen, one hand on the wall and the other on his hip, mimicked the tone of a domineering CEO novel: "Beibei, you'll forgive me, right?"

It seems like I asked a bit too much.

Alessa realized how foolish she was to ask such a crazy question.

On the way to the church.

We passed by a restroom.

Allen stopped and beckoned mysteriously, "Come here for a second."

"What's the matter?"

Alessa frowned, unable to guess what Allen was planning to do this time.

"You'll see when you come in."

As Allen entered the bathroom, he saw him turn on the tap, and water began to fill the washbasin.

"What exactly are you trying to do?"

Suddenly, a sense of foreboding rose in Aresa's heart.

woo woo woo...

The next second, Allen pressed his head into the basin of water, rubbing his dirty hair incessantly, and said with a bright smile, "I've wanted to wash your hair for a while now, gothic punk doesn't suit you."

That's enough.

Aresa suddenly struggled, raised her head, and roared angrily.

woo woo woo...

Unfortunately, how could her petite frame withstand Allen's terrifying power?

Black, dirty water kept overflowing from the basin, while the faucet kept gushing out clean water. Finally, when no more black water could be washed out, Allen stopped the inhumane torture of washing his hair.

At this moment, Alessa's eyes were blank, letting her wet hair drip water.

The icy water seemed to wash away the dignity of her, the son of a demon.

A humiliating disgrace.

I tolerated it.

With revenge as her top priority, Aresa had no choice but to suppress her anger.

……

Inside the church.

The Otherworld descended, and all the followers gathered together to escape the darkness.

A golden disc was placed in the center of the church, and people faced the disc to pray.

The fragments of Floros, imbued with demonic power, filled the entire church with a radiant light, offering protection to the terrified congregation.

Krista, who was leading the prayer, looked at the golden disc and her expression darkened.

Five years later, the power is waning, and a sacrificial ritual is needed to keep the fragments of power intact.

Never make a deal with the devil and never expect to get something for nothing.

After all, what's free is often the most expensive.

Fortunately, a sacrificial ceremony only costs one person's life in exchange for five years of prolonging life. Moreover, capturing two outsiders can now be exchanged for ten years of peace.

"Bruce, I think things are going to get worse. That old woman is looking at us strangely."

"Oliver, perhaps we've encountered the worst possible situation."
