Chapter 79

Alan's Poison Ivy Robin

Chapter 79 Alan's Poison Ivy Robin

"Old Deng's eldest son."

Allen's face squeezed into the frame as he waved to Steve.

Steve instinctively raised his hand to press the disconnect button, but Allen quickly stopped him, saying, "Don't hang up! If you dare to hang up, I'll come straight to Stark Tower to find you."

Immediately, Steve stopped what he was doing and asked with a helpless expression, "What's wrong?"

For a moment, everyone else in the base was shocked.

They really know each other.

"Explain to them who I am."

Allen stood there with his hands on his hips, looking very cocky, waiting for Steve to reveal his impressive title.

"You're Allen."

Steve couldn't figure out what this was all about. They were all hanging around together; didn't they know each other's backgrounds?

Allen reiterated: "I mean, my role in S.H.I.E.L.D. during World War II."

"During World War II?"

Steve recalled, "S.H.I.E.L.D. weapons specialist, commando member, what's wrong? What's the problem?"

It's an old almanac, and I don't understand the point of bringing it up again.

"Hey hey hey... you all heard that, I wasn't talking nonsense, was I?"

Allen smugly pointed his nose at the crowd, practically wearing the word "awesome" on his face.

Bruce wasn't surprised. They met in the League of Assassins, and Allen should have been middle-aged by now, but he still looked like a teenager, which was suspicious.

It can be traced back to World War II.

Normally, they would be in their seventies or eighties.

Captain America's body remained unchanged due to being frozen in ice, mainly thanks to the super serum.

S.H.I.E.L.D. conducted a full medical examination on him and concluded that the Dionysus factor played a significant role; otherwise, he might not have been able to be successfully resurrected.

Eric was utterly shocked. From World War II to the present, Allen was a veteran of S.H.I.E.L.D., and even Director Fury treated him with utmost respect.

Damian looked disappointed, not seeing the scene he expected.

As for Lillian, she could be ignored; no one cared about her changing expressions.

"Hey old man, have you seen Kiba?" Allen asked casually.

Steve sighed. "Bucky's situation is bad. He's been living in hiding, afraid that Hydra will find him and control him to commit crimes."

"You could try asking Professor X, the bald-headed Qiang, his mental abilities might be able to help," Allen suggested.

"Perhaps, why not give it a try?"

Steve said, "I'll hang up now if there's nothing else."

The video feed cuts out.

……

Stark Tower.

Tony Stark, who was hiding to the side, said with a look of relief, "Thank goodness he didn't mention Stark Industries."

When Howard founded Stark Industries, he gave Allen a 30% stake, which would be worth tens of billions today.

However, after multiple rounds of financing and dilution, Tony now manages the remaining 15% of the shares, which, combined with his own shares, allows him to fully control the vast business empire.

"Don't think of him that way. After all, Allen is your uncle."

Steve's words nearly made Tony so frustrated he almost vomited blood.

If Allen is of the same generation as his uncle, then Steve is of the same generation, making him a junior to him.

"Your mouth is so sharp, did you learn it from him?" Tony scrutinized.

"Not much, just a little."

……

Inside the base.

Allen was completely unaware that he was a billionaire.

The issue of shares had long been forgotten and was not taken to heart at all.

At the time, he didn't take it seriously, and after a series of events, he completely forgot about it.

"Bat, I have some information. The vampires may be locking up citizens in a warehouse in the suburbs. Can you analyze what location would be suitable?"

The information about that female vampire remains to be verified; it's just another trip for her.

Bruce pulled out a map of Gotham City and analyzed the possible locations based on the information.

Allen recounted the whole story in detail, then embellished it, saying, "My beloved betrayed her own kind for me, and then watched the sunrise with me, willing to give up her long life just to pursue a moment of sweet memories. This kind of love is too heavy, too dramatic."

Clenching his fists, Allen tried to force out tears.

Damian guessed the correct way to interact with Allen: "You probably forced him to watch the sunrise, didn't you?"

"Hey... that kid's so arrogant."

Allen felt humiliated and retorted, "You brat, you don't understand love."

"..."

That's so hurtful.

He actually called me a brat.

Damian's face flushed red with anger, and after a long pause, he managed to utter, "You've always been imitating Batman, you'll never have a Robin by your side."

"I don't have Robin!?"

Allen's eyes widened, and he repeated, "I don't have Robin!"

His expression seemed to be disturbed, and his eyes darted back and forth.

At that moment, Lillian turned her gaze over, watching with great interest as the madman and the child bickered.

By chance, our eyes met.

Allen looked at Lillian with a sly smile on his face.

Oh no, it's coming at me!

Lillian quickly turned around, pretending to be busy, but out of the corner of her eye, she saw Allen already beside her and asked in a panic, "What are you doing?"

"Robin, my Robin, hehehehe..."

Allen let out a chilling laugh, his hand already reaching for his armpit.

"Allen, calm down. We have no grudge against each other. Don't do anything excessive."

Lillian nervously retreated, while Allen pressed closer, now holding an oil-based pen.

"stop!"

Unfortunately, how could a mere woman possibly resist Allen, whose strength is measured in tons?

Allen was seen drawing on Lillian with an oil-based pen, and after a short while, he said with satisfaction, "My Poison Ivy Robin."

Lillian looked aggrieved, simply because Allen had drawn a black blindfold over her eyes.

How embarrassing.

How embarrassing.

I hate Robin the most.

Lillian covered her mouth, feeling like crying but unable to shed a tear and utterly despondent.

Damian, who witnessed the whole thing, grimaced in disgust.

If this can be considered Robin, then what is he?

Indeed, the world of the mentally ill is incomprehensible.

"We've found a lead."

Bruce completed the analysis and marked the locations that matched the imprisonment of citizens.

"There are three positions, clearly indicating that they want us to split up and then take them down one by one."

Allen squinted and said smugly, "With my exceptional intelligence, I saw through their scheme at a glance."

"The branch may be located in three warehouses. I have already invited Green Arrow to help."

Bruce, who is always cautious, had considered the possibility of alerting the vampires and causing them to take drastic actions, so he asked his like-minded friends for help.

"If Green Arrow comes to Gotham, won't that be quite a spectacle?"

Allen couldn't help but dream, "If only Her Highness could come. I've been gone for so many years, she must be heartbroken. Oh, my damn, irresistible charm."

"Who is Her Highness the Princess?" Bruce asked.

"Diana."

Bruce asked incredulously, "You two know each other?"

"What's so strange about that? We worked together in the commando unit during World War II, so it's only natural that we developed feelings for each other. I was even the first one to go to Paradise Island to visit my mother-in-law. Is there a problem with that?" Allen said with great enthusiasm.
