Chapter 26

The Hilarious Bat is Caught in the Net

Chapter 26 The Hilarious Bat is Caught in the Net

"Damn it, you guys watched the fireworks without me!"

Allen emerged from the shadows, glaring angrily at the five main characters.

Their expressions froze as they looked at the battle suits that had been modified into something unsightly, and they were filled with rage.

That's a Batsuit, how can you change it into a punk style?

Allen looked at the Twin Towers and joked, "You city folks really know how to have fun, burning down skyscrapers for a bonfire party."

Dick casually asked, "Allen, any discoveries?"

"There are many clues, I'll start with the simple ones."

Allen counted on his fingers and said, "First discovery: the Penguin and the Riddler have reformed and are preparing to open a foot massage parlor. Second discovery: Mayor Hamilton, dissatisfied with his figure, has opted for natural breast augmentation. Third discovery: I've now unlocked a new identity—the Comedy Bat. Fourth discovery…"

The five heroes turned around and jumped off the rooftop together.

……

During the day, the number of people in Gotham's Chinatown has decreased significantly.

The number of customers has plummeted due to frequent shootouts caused by escapes from Blackgate Prison and Arkham Asylum.

Allen rides his electric bicycle openly and honestly through the streets, continuing his righteous cause of eradicating evil and upholding justice.

Of course, we don't forget to raid the wilderness to replenish our supplies when the time comes.

Police cars that rarely patrol would give him a second glance, treating him as a hot-blooded young man imitating the vigilantes of Gotham, at most hoping he wouldn't die in their jurisdiction and increase their workload.

Gripping the brakes tightly, Allen stopped his bicycle, his eyes coldly fixed on the side of the street. He then lowered his head in thought, before glancing back again.

"No, I'm an adult now, I shouldn't indulge myself like that."

Allen solemnly admonished himself, then pitifully muttered to himself, "But I really want to indulge myself one more time."

When he was conflicted, Allen would raise his hands and listen to the opinions of his ex and current partner.

"Xiao Zuo, you said you broke up with me because I was immature."

"Xiao You, you're willing to be with me because you value my innocence and naturalness."

Allen said happily, "Little Right is still the best."

After parking his electric bicycle, Allen walked straight to the side of the street.

Before long, the innocent music echoed along the street.

"Dad's dad is grandpa, Dad's mom is grandma, Mom's dad is maternal grandpa, Mom's mom is maternal grandma..."

Allen sat in the coin-operated rocking car with a satisfied look on his face, his head swaying up and down with the rhythm of the rocking.

The song has come to an end.

The meaning is still unfinished.

Allen reluctantly got off the rocking horse, remarking, "It was truly an exhilarating indulgence."

Just as they were about to retrieve their vehicle, two Claw Warriors were already waiting there.

They even waited silently for Allen to finish riding the rocking horse, without making a move to interrupt him.

"I've said before that we can't be together."

Allen righteously declined, adding, "Especially, a threesome is even more unacceptable."

What kind of rabid and inhuman words are these?

The Claw Warrior drew his blade and began the pursuit.

"Come and chase me, if you catch me you'll have a blast!"

I can't stand it anymore.

That's so despicable.

The three chased each other down the street.

Before long, Allen escaped into a dead end.

The two Claw Warriors pressed closer and closer.

"Can you please leave me alone after I've been praising your good looks?"

The battle ended quickly.

Allen was bound hand and foot and imprisoned.

At this moment, more Claw Warriors arrived.

woo woo woo...

Allen had a knot of rope stuffed in his mouth to prevent him from speaking.

A later Claw Warrior untied the knot in his mouth, warning, "Behave yourself, or I'll cut your tongue out."

"Hehehe..."

Allen chuckled smugly, "You fell for my trap. I deliberately let you catch me and then brought me to the Court of Owls' lair. Aren't I clever?"

"Are you going to keep being so stubborn?" the Claw Commander asked coldly.

"Men, they'd rather admit they're fast than admit they're weak, sob sob..."

The Claw Commander put the knot back in; this guy was seriously mentally ill and couldn't communicate normally at all.

Mission accomplished, the owl returns to its nest.

Throughout the entire process, Allen was wearing a hood, making it impossible to see the location of the Court of Owls' nest.

After more than an hour, Allen was slammed to the ground.

The hood was removed again, revealing a man with panda eyes.

"Surprised, aren't you? We meet so soon." The man smiled cruelly.

As the man removed the knot, he introduced himself, saying, "I'll let you die knowing why. You died at the hands of me, Ethel Peabody, the fifth judge of the Court of Owls."

"What enema? I'm not constipated, I don't need it, thank you."

"..."

Ethel's forehead veins bulged, and his smile grew increasingly cruel; he desperately hoped the other would remain cynical.

"Hehehe..."

Allen let out a chilling laugh: "You think you've caught me, but little do you know, I've caught you, you owls."

Ethel frowned upon hearing this, realizing it wasn't just an exaggeration.

At this point, Allen began to recount: "The Court of Owls is a branch of the Council of Owls. When Batman disappeared, I suspected that you were behind it, so I kidnapped the mayor to find out where your meeting place was, deliberately lured out the Talon Legion to attract attention, and pretended to be captured and taken to the real lair."

Ethel was startled. This guy was suddenly speaking clearly and logically. Could it be that he was pretending to be stupid before?

"I advise you to untie me right now, or I won't be polite."

With his hands and feet bound, Allen writhed on the ground like a maggot, muttering threats incessantly.

"..."

This scene made Ethel roll her eyes, realizing how stupid she was to actually believe the madman's nonsense.

"I really like your stubbornness, and I hope that... "

puff!

Suddenly, a Claw Warrior's sneak attack on someone nearby drew everyone's attention.

Another Claw Warrior rushed toward Allen, kicked Ethel to the ground, and immediately crouched down to untie him.

Allen wasn't lying; he did intentionally get captured, but he didn't mention that he took down the two Claw Warriors and had Dick and Jason impersonate them to infiltrate the group.

"Raise the alarm, awaken more claws, and kill the intruder immediately."

Ethel screamed in panic, terrified.

If one's mistake causes significant losses to the Owl Court, then one will surely face terrible punishment.

Dick was fighting off several Claw Warriors by himself, while Jason was racing against time to untie Allen.

Jason.

Allen said with a confident expression, "You still won't admit that you're a rope bondage master? The more I struggle, the tighter I tie you up. You must have tied me up a lot for fun on a regular basis."

"I tied it exactly as you requested. Every knot and the place where the rope passes through was designed by you."

Jason was speechless. The tying was so complicated, and it was difficult and time-consuming to untie it.

At the time, they thought Allen could untie himself, but when they saw him writhing and struggling on the ground, they realized that he couldn't free himself and had messed things up himself.

"The world slanders me, defames me, and tramples on me, so why are you also throwing dirty water on me?"

Allen, brimming with righteous confidence, saw that Jason was at a loss and reminded him, "I can untie my hands by pulling the rope under my armpits, and I can untie the rest myself."
