Chapter 80

Gotham's Four Great Villains

Chapter 80 Gotham's Four Villains

The sun was blazing overhead.

Bruce and his accomplices deliberately chose to act during the day.

The ultraviolet rays during the day are fatal to vampires. Once they realize they cannot resist, they can escape smoothly. Moreover, the enemy will not dare to pursue them in broad daylight.

Eric broke the lock on the warehouse door with a single sword strike and then pushed open the wooden door.

There are not many warehouses in the suburbs, especially large warehouses, making it easy to identify suspicious targets.

At this moment, the four-person team decided to act together.

During the day, they can effectively suppress vampires, but the Claw Legion does not have this weakness. If too many Claw warriors were to ambush them, they would likely be in mortal danger if they acted alone.

Oliver, the newly arrived Green Arrow, accompanied him with a quiver of arrows, having prepared many silver arrowheads beforehand.

After all, he's a top-tier rich kid with dedicated weapons manufacturing equipment, saving Bruce the trouble of preparing.

Stepping into the warehouse, the scene was completely empty, as if it had been abandoned for a long time.

However, it was cleaned spotlessly.

Oliver took out an arrow, stuck it in the ground, and it immediately emitted an electromagnetic wave.

A microcomputer on the wrist calculates a three-dimensional model of the warehouse.

"Found it."

Oliver walked straight to a floor tile and pried it open along the seam.

"Green Arrow, your gear is really good."

Allen glanced furtively at the quiver, his eyes filled with curiosity about how many different kinds of arrows it contained.

Oliver said frankly, "Times are changing, and equipment needs to keep up with the times. It's just that the enemy has adopted high technology."

That's true. If a super criminal has no skills, he'd just be a prisoner.

Relying solely on ordinary composite bows and alloy arrows to fight enemies is less effective than using firearms.

"Do you know Hawkeye from the Avengers?" Allen asked curiously.

Hawkeye and Green Arrow are so similar; both are skilled with bows and arrows and have excellent close-combat abilities.

We've faced off a few times; it's about even.

Of course, the two would stop at the point of no return; if they were to really go for the kill, the outcome would be unpredictable.

While they were chatting, the four of them went down to the basement level.

All that met my eyes was pitch black.

Vampires prefer dark environments and are born with night vision.

Bruce put on the night vision goggles, and Oliver lightly touched his temple to activate the night vision function on the mask.

Eric doesn't need to go through all that trouble. Inheriting the abilities of the vampires, he doesn't need any equipment or assistance. Even wearing sunglasses doesn't hinder his vision in dark environments.

pat!

Suddenly, it became bright and airy.

"Can't you just turn on the lights?"

Allen touched the light switch and pressed it directly.

The three looked at each other speechlessly; this was just stirring up trouble beforehand.

Allen posed a probing question: "Everyone here is someone of importance—Gotham's Bruce Wayne, Bloodhand Eric, the Porcupine Oliver, and my 'Comedy Bat' team. Shouldn't they be afraid of us?"

Forehead…

That seems to make a lot of sense.

There's no reason to act furtively.

"I think the description of the porcupine with a thousand arrows is inappropriate," Oliver retorted.

"The enemy is covered in arrows; doesn't he look like a porcupine?"

Allen swaggered forward.

This is a wide tunnel, and it's hard to imagine when it was built; it's probably the work of the Owl Court.

The vampires are an external enemy, and it's impossible for them to invest funds and energy in Gotham's infrastructure development without a reason.

"Yo ho, here comes the funny bat."

Allen called out towards the end, "Come out and show yourself, little one."

The three of them couldn't help but spread out.

What was originally planned as a secret operation turned into a provocation.

"Maybe we shouldn't bring him next time?" Oliver suggested in a low voice.

"Don't bring him for small things; only call him if you run into big trouble," Bruce suggested.

"I agree," Eric chimed in.

Allen was just too much of a troublemaker, making their next move inconvenient.

Suddenly, arrows shot out from the wall.

Allen, who was walking in front, did a somersault in the air and landed in a cool pose, letting go of the arrow he was holding.

Pooh…

He spat out the arrow that he had caught in his mouth.

"Let's make it a bit more difficult, let's use this to test our cadres."

As soon as he finished speaking, a chainsaw wheel appeared in front of the passage, swinging back and forth, as if it had been deliberately activated by Allen's provocation.

Looking at the constantly swinging circular blade of the chainsaw, one can imagine the blood and gore that would result if it were touched.

Allen stood still, surveying his surroundings.

He raised his hand and slammed it against the wall, each punch sending concrete flying.

After punching the wall repeatedly, he finally pulled out an electrical wire and snapped it.

In an instant, darkness returned.

"The wrong wire was cut."

Allen lit a lighter, reconnected the original wire, and went through another frantic demolition of the wall, finally finding another wire and ripping it off.

The organization immediately came to a standstill.

"The last descendant of the Tomb Raiders, traps and mechanisms are nothing to me."

Allen strode confidently past the mechanism.

Electrically powered traps inevitably have power lines; cutting off the power directly would paralyze the mechanism.

The three people behind them fell silent.

When the trap was activated, they were all thinking about how to dodge it with their agility, without considering how to solve the problem at its root.

Monitoring room.

The first-generation mixed-race individuals witnessed the entire process.

"The mechanisms of the Court of Owls are just for show. They look impressive, but a madman could easily crack them."

"Batman, Green Arrow, Blade, and the comical Bat have absolutely no chance of winning."

The nickname "Comedy Bat" had already gained traction after Allen's raid on the owl's nest, making him one of the most dangerous targets.

Allen's purge of the vampires at the Starlight Tower stronghold made them see him as a dangerous figure on par with Batman.

"Forget about here, let's get out of here immediately."

The original mixed-race members unanimously agreed to retreat, immediately took out their UV-protective suits from the safe, put them on, and evacuated through the escape tunnel.

In reality, the creation of the vampire army was not the core issue; it was entirely due to the release of vampires into Gotham City during the Blood God ritual, which prevented Batman and the others from interfering.

Once the Blood God Ritual is successfully completed.

Batman and Blade are just minor problems that Firth can easily solve.

roar roar...

The frantic screams were like the roars of vengeful ghosts from hell.

Allen and his three companions found the area where the citizens were being held. The scent of living people was like a drop of water falling into a pot of boiling oil, instantly igniting the emotions of the vampires imprisoned in the iron cages.

From the day of their transformation, deprived of fresh blood, the remaining rationality of these vampire citizens vanished completely.

Upon seeing a living person appear before them, they were like starving refugees discovering steaming hot buns, eager to stuff them into their mouths without hesitation.

With bloodshot eyes and distorted faces, the citizens gripped the iron cage railings and shook it frantically, trying to break free and feast.

"It's hopeless," Eric said calmly.

He had seen too many things like this, and his heart was now indifferent.

"Collecting a blood sample might offer a chance to save them."

Bruce refused to give up, having imprisoned at least several hundred people; he couldn't simply abandon them.

Such a large number of vampires cannot be allowed to escape; if they flood into Gotham City, it will cause a devastating disaster.

He is imprisoned here in the hope that the reversal serum can be successfully developed.
