Chapter 99

The Four-Person Group in Room 404

Chapter 99 The Four-Person Group in Room 404

Dormitory 404.

Upon entering, I saw a blurry figure moving back and forth in the room.

I will do three things at the same time: play billiards, play video games, and read books.

Hanging from the roof beam is a blue figure, with a blue tail tightly tied to the beam pillar, patiently reading a book in its hands.

"Guys, there's an interesting new guy here."

With a shout from Wade, the afterimage stopped, revealing a white-haired boy, while a boy with dark blue skin flipped and landed.

"He is the newborn Allen, who possesses healing abilities."

Wade added, "The white-haired one is Quicksilver, and the blue-skinned one is Nightcrawler. Their abilities are super cool."

"I know him."

Allen reminded him, "I'm not a local."

"..."

Wade remembered that Allen seemed to have a similar ability to him.

"Do you know us?"

Quicksilver asked curiously, "Tell me my full name."

"Pietro Django Maximov, Wanda is your sister." Alan casually asked, "Is your sister at school?"

"She ran away from home a few years ago and her whereabouts are still unknown," Pietro said dejectedly.

"It's nothing, he probably went out to learn magic and find a girlfriend."

Scarlet Witch Wanda's chaos magic can alter reality. She predicted that there would be no more mutants in the world, but as a result, 99% of mutants disappeared.

Those are all insignificant, dispensable characters; the truly capable ones are still alive and kicking.

At the same time, Allen was thankful that he wasn't a mutant.

"And me?" the Nightcrawler asked expectantly.

"Kurt Wagner, were your parents the Red Devil and the Shapeshifter?"

Allen remembered that Nightcrawler had its origins in the comics, but not in the movie.

"I don't know. I've seen Mystique, and I'm sure she's not my mother," Kurt said, sounding somewhat sad.

He had lived in a circus since he could remember, and then, due to poor management, it was sold to an underground boxing gym.

When Professor X found himself, he was still hiding in the sewers, barely surviving.

The Nightcrawler's life story is undeniably tragic, but fortunately he met a mentor, a priest from a church, who not only provided him with financial assistance but also guided him to wholeheartedly pursue good.

Therefore, Kurt never held a grudge against those who hurt him, and was even willing to help those in distress.

But their naturally blue appearance often leads them to be treated as devils.

Even so, he simply escaped by teleportation and did not do anything to harm others.

"Don't be sad, Smurf, you still have us," Allen comforted her.

With a loud "waaaah," Kurt burst into tears.

How did I become a Smurf?

The reason why the three of them live together is easy to understand.

No normal person would want to deal with Deadpool.

The night stalker looks like a devil, and if he gets up to pee in the middle of the night, he'll probably be too scared to sleep.

Quicksilver's father is Magneto, who leads the Brotherhood of Mutants, an extremist group. To put it bluntly, he's the son of a terrorist, and nobody wants to associate with him.

So, let's all not look down on each other and just make do.

"It's fate that we met, I suggest we get together for a meal."

Eating and drinking are the easiest ways to build rapport, and when Allen suggested it, everyone looked at each other in bewilderment.

Wade posed a serious question: "Do you have money?"

"Do I, a mentally ill person, look like I'm rich?"

Allen glanced at the hospital gown but couldn't find a pocket for his money.

Looking at Quicksilver and Nightcrawler, both of them shook their heads vigorously, like rattles.

You all have no money, yet you expect those two students to have money.

"That's understandable. Marvel heroes are either so rich that they've achieved technological advancements, or so poor that they've mutated themselves, unlike DC heroes next door, who at least have a proper job and being a hero is a side job."

Allen's summary was spot on, and Wade nodded repeatedly.

Marvel heroes treat being a hero as a profession, and which truly wealthy hero didn't rely on their family's wealth?

The saying "Wealth leads to technology, poverty leads to mutation" couldn't be more apt.

"It's alright, this little thing is no problem for me."

Allen said smugly, "I found a flock of swans in the lake next to the school. They're quite plump. Quicksilver, catch a couple and we'll have roast goose."

"Wade and Smurfs, get some seasonings ready." Allen tossed his hair, his eyebrows dancing with excitement, and said, "I'm not going to hide my identity as a descendant of the eight great cuisines of the East anymore."

"You're really multi-talented, you can even cook," Wade said sarcastically, clearly expressing deep skepticism.

Allen smugly said, "He exudes an aura of talent; even his farts carry the fragrance of wisdom."

Without further ado, let's get started.

Kurt took everyone's hands, closed his eyes, and teleported them all to the forest behind the mountain.

The next moment, Pietro moved and returned to his original position in less than three seconds, now holding two large gray geese in his hands.

Wade and Kurt teleported back to the school cafeteria to steal seasonings.

Meanwhile, Allen retrieved the Blade of Redemption from his rear end and began processing the ingredients, while Quicksilver gathered firewood to start a fire.

I was busy for two whole hours.

The doubts about Allen were finally dispelled.

The gray swan, which originally symbolizes love, now has a golden-brown, crispy exterior and tender interior, giving it a very tempting appearance.

Perhaps they were a pair of swans, destined to die together.

Each person enjoyed a large duck leg.

Allen finished his meal in a few bites, slurping up the bone as he said, "I have a money-making project. If we combine the abilities of everyone here, we're guaranteed to make a fortune, reach the pinnacle of life, and marry a beautiful and wealthy woman."

The three men looked at him with bright, alert eyes.

Deadpool has never been rich, even though he has taken on many bounties, he doesn't know how the money disappeared.

Quicksilver, a child from a single-parent family, was too ashamed to ask his mother for money. His father, Magneto, whom he had only met a few times, was busy with his career and had no time to care about the poor kid.

Nightwalker was an orphan; even when he went out begging, he would get beaten up several times because of his appearance.

"Selling breakfast at school, isn't that a crazy idea?"

Allen outlined the division of labor in the Blues: "I'll be in charge of cooking, Wade will hand out flyers, Kurt will deliver takeout, and Pietro will be in the kitchen. It would be hard for business not to be booming."

"We don't have the money," Pietro pointed out the key issue.

Four people couldn't even scrape together a single dollar, yet they talked big about starting a business, which impressed even capitalists.

"You can borrow some ingredients from the kitchen and pay them back when you earn the money."

In the academy, not all parents hate their mutant children; only a very small minority do. The vast majority send their children here to protect them from being discovered to be mutants, and they certainly provide some living expenses.

"Someone's coming!"

Kurt, with his exceptionally keen senses, looked in the direction the approaching figure was and exclaimed in surprise, "It's Headmaster Logan!"

"Wolverine?"

Before Allen could even ask what was going on, Kurt used teleportation to send him back to the dormitory.

Before long, a figure darted through the woods and arrived.

Logan Howlett, the Wolverine, looked at the sizzling roast goose, brought it to his nose, and said calmly, "No matter how fast you run, you can't escape my nose."

I couldn't help but take a bite of the roast goose, and my pupils instantly contracted.

Within minutes, only the skeleton of the roast goose remained, and my gaze couldn't help but fall on the remaining roast goose.

"Should we take some back for Charles to try?" Logan hesitated. "I'll just have one more tiny bite, just one tiny bite..."
