Chapter 1127

Cui Ming: You should have said you were escaping for your life!

Choi looked down at Lucia, his tone cold and emotionless: "Get up." The two simple words carried an irresistible sense of oppression, and a slight aura of menace emanated from him, forcing the woman to grit her teeth and struggle to prop herself up with her arms. Her eyes were filled with lingering fear, and she gripped the ground tightly, afraid to lift her head.

Cui Ming bent down, grabbed Lucia by the back of her collar with one hand, and lifted her up. The woman's feet left the ground, and she could only struggle helplessly, fear engulfing her like a tidal wave. His tone was cold and emotionless, and every word revealed undisguised ruthlessness: "I am an equal person. I kill every enemy equally, regardless of gender or age."

With a slight tightening of his grip, Cui Ming's interrogation became direct and crisp: "Tell me, who are you, and what are you doing on Earth?"

Lucia was being strangled and could hardly breathe. Her voice trembled, but she dared not hide anything. She spoke rapidly as she defended herself: "I am Lucia. I was sent to Earth as prey. I was the prey being hunted. The creatures hunting me were the Muzhen aliens. Everything I said is true!"

"Oh," Cui Ming responded, his tone devoid of any emotion. He picked up Lucia with one hand and slowly turned his head to look into the depths of the forest.

Just then, the two Wood-Dwelling Star People, who had just gotten up from the mud and were still hurling insults at each other, looked up and their eyes met Cui Ming's. The air froze instantly, and the hostility on the two Wood-Dwelling Star People's faces instantly stiffened, replaced by extreme fear.

Cui Ming's gaze fell on them, and he spoke calmly, his tone carrying an undeniable certainty: "These are the ones, aren't they?"

As soon as they finished speaking, the two Wood-Dwelling aliens let out a short scream almost in unison, turned around decisively, and scrambled off in the opposite direction, with only one thought in their minds: Run! Run for your life!
Damn! It's Storm One!
You only find out about this stuff when you meet it in person! I'd only ever heard of it in rumors before, but seeing it in person now, I finally understand what despair truly means.

The legends about the universe are complete lies!
This thing is even more terrifying than the legends! The overwhelming aura of evil almost froze their souls, leaving them unable to even muster the thought of resistance. They could only flee with all their might, wishing they had two more legs.

Upon receiving confirmation, Cui Ming did not hesitate for a moment. Holding Lucia in one hand, he shot towards the direction the two Muzhen aliens had fled like an arrow. His strides were enormous, each step causing the ground to tremble slightly. His chilling aura was almost tangible as he locked onto the two fleeing figures ahead, his speed astonishing, closing the distance in an instant.

Hearing the growing pressure from behind, the two Wood-Dwelling aliens were terrified. They focused only on running, their earlier argument forgotten in their panic. Driven by their survival instincts, they both instinctively decided to sabotage their teammate. "Run faster! Block him!" their companion shouted, pushing against Big Fool Chun as they ran, trying to use him as a shield.

Da Sha Chun wasn't one to be trifled with either. He grabbed his companion's arm and flung him behind him, yelling, "You block me if you want! You came up with this stupid idea first!" Caught off guard, his companion stumbled and nearly fell. He turned around and cursed at Da Sha Chun, but could only grit his teeth and keep up. The two ran and pulled and pushed each other, each trying to throw the other to the ruthless man behind them.

Seeing that Cui Ming was about to catch up, Da Sha Chun, in a moment of quick thinking, suddenly tripped and fell to the side, simultaneously grabbing his companion's ankle tightly. "Help! I can't run anymore!" he deliberately howled, using the force of the fall to pull his companion to the ground, while he himself used the momentum to scramble and crawl into the bushes nearby. "Damn it! Da Sha Chun, you bastard!" His companion crashed heavily to the ground, a bloody gash on his knee. Looking up, he saw Cui Ming already standing in front of him, the murderous aura instantly enveloping him, making him freeze in fear, forgetting even to struggle. He turned to look at the bushes, but Da Sha Chun had already disappeared inside, leaving only a disheveled, fleeing figure. Clearly, he had successfully tricked him and taken the opportunity to escape.

Cui Ming glanced down at the immobilized Mu Zhen alien at his feet, then at the direction of the bushes. He didn't chase after the fleeing Da Sha Chun—to him, the target he had left behind, along with Lucia in his hands, were enough to complete the interrogation; any further pursuit would be a waste of energy. He tossed Lucia aside and said to her coldly, "Wait."

Lucia, who had been thrown to the ground, shrank back and watched as Cui Ming walked step by step toward the Muzhen alien who had been tricked so badly, her fear intensifying.

Deep within the bushes, Da Sha Chun covered his mouth, trembling uncontrollably. Only when he could no longer hear the sounds behind him did he dare to peek out. Watching his companion fall into Cui Ming's hands, he felt both relieved to have escaped and still shaken – this trip to Earth had been a brush with death.

The Muzhen alien, trapped in place by Da Shachun, saw Cui Ming approaching and its survival instincts kicked in. Its body swelled with green light and suddenly expanded, attempting to grow to a gigantic size to fight back. But as soon as it managed to stand up, Cui Ming was already in front of it, a rough-looking, twisted hammer that had appeared in its hand at some point, which it swung down without hesitation.

"Crack—Pfft!" A crisp sound mixed with the cracking of flesh and blood rang out as the Wood-Piercing Alien's head was smashed open by the Twisting Hammer. The Wood-Piercing Alien's blood splattered all over the ground, and its body, which had just swelled to half its original size, instantly lost its strength, crashing heavily to the ground and becoming completely still. The whole process was so fast that it didn't even take a blink of an eye; there was no unnecessary entanglement, only the swiftness of a single, decisive blow.

Lucia, standing not far away, trembled violently at the bloody scene. She covered her mouth with both hands, tears welling in her eyes, on the verge of sobbing. She huddled in a corner, watching Cui Ming casually flick the dirt off the hammer. The ruthless calmness he exuded was even more chilling than the sight of him smashing the head of the wooden alien.

Meanwhile, Da Sha Chun had already darted through the bushes and was running frantically toward the edge of the forest. It dared not look back, and could even clearly sense the sudden surge of murderous intent emanating from Cui Ming behind it. It was the deadly pressure from a top predator that made its hair stand on end, and it dared not even slow its breathing.

From the moment it sensed Cui Ming's surging murderous aura, Da Sha Chun knew that staying here would only lead to death, and it had to run away at all costs! It gritted its teeth and urged the energy within its body, not hesitating to burn its own life essence, and its speed suddenly increased several times. Its figure was like a blurry green shadow, and it fled desperately in the direction away from Cui Ming. Only one thought remained in its mind: the farther away the better, and never to encounter this evil god again!

Cui Ming glanced at the corpse of the Wood-Piercing Alien, then swept his gaze in the direction Da Sha Chun had fled, showing no intention of giving chase. While the speed of escape gained through burning one's life force was rapid, to him, a wounded bandit fleeing in panic, having lost his comrades, was far less valuable than Lucia in his grasp. He strode towards Lucia, who was huddled in a corner, his murderous gaze landing on her, causing her to hold her breath instantly. (End of Chapter)
