Chapter 1294
focuses on one thing: efficiency.
The communicator suddenly rang, and Lindis's calm voice came through the cold electronic tone: "Cui, there's another batch at the eastern port, three of them."
"Received." Cui Ming's response was concise and to the point, without any unnecessary words. He turned and left, his heavy footsteps echoing clearly in the empty, silent parking lot, breaking the stillness of the night. Behind him, several Kali alien corpses were visibly turning to grayish-white ash. This was a unique way for aliens to die—clean and swift, leaving no trace. Of course, there were exceptions—some aliens would explode violently upon death, so after dealing with an enemy, it was best to instinctively keep your distance to avoid being caught in the aftershocks.
At the eastern harbor, the night wind carried the strong salty smell of the sea, making the sails on the dock flutter and the sound of waves crashing against the shore rose and fell, intertwining with the faint lights of the distant city.
Three Kali aliens were frantically surrounding a small fishing boat. Their sharp claws had easily severed the mooring lines, and the boat's engine roared to life, clearly in a hurry to escape the planet. But just as the engine's roar reached its peak and they were about to jump aboard, they glanced up and saw the silent black figure standing at the end of the dock. All their movements froze, and their panic was replaced by overwhelming fear.
Cui Ming remained silent, radiating a chilling aura of oppression. He simply raised his hand slowly. The Ultra Bracelet on his wrist shimmered with a cool silver light under the bright moonlight. The light seemed gentle, yet it sent shivers down the spines of the three Kali aliens, making their breathing rapid.
"No...no..." One of the Kali aliens broke down first, letting out a desperate sob, his voice full of pleading, "We'll leave this planet right now...and never come back...please spare us!"
Before he finished speaking, the Ultra Bracelet on Cui Ming's wrist suddenly emitted a dazzling light, instantly enveloping the entire dock. As the light faded, Ultraman Jack, in human size, descended to the spot. His silver-red body stood out starkly in the deep night, its sharp lines radiating unshakeable power. Instead of using a powerful beam attack, he chose the most direct and brutal method—stepping forward, grabbing the nearest Kali alien by the neck, and forcefully lifting him off the ground. With a slight tightening of his fingers, accompanied by a crisp cracking sound, the Kali alien's body instantly ceased its struggle and died completely.
The other two Kali aliens were terrified and, forgetting all about escaping, turned to jump into the icy sea to save their lives. But Ultraman Jack was far faster than them. In a flash, he caught up with one of them, his hand like a sharp blade plunging into the man's back, piercing straight through his chest. Green blood gushed from his fingertips, dripping onto the wooden planks of the dock with a soft pattering sound. The last Kali alien, having swum dozens of meters with all his might, thought he was about to escape, but a pale blue Specium Ray suddenly struck him from behind, hitting him precisely and instantly vaporizing him on the surface of the sea, leaving only a wisp of smoke that was instantly dispersed by the sea breeze.
The light receded once more, and Ultraman Jack transformed back into his original form. He stood at the edge of the dock, looking down at his hands. The green blood of the Kali aliens was slowly dripping from his fingertips, its color appearing eerie and glaring under the moonlight. A faint smell of blood filled the air, mingling with the saltiness of the sea, creating an exceptionally pungent odor.
The communicator rang again, this time with Maya's gentle voice, tinged with barely perceptible concern: "Mr. Cui Ming, satellites have detected an abnormal energy reaction on the west side of the city. Preliminary assessment indicates it's the last batch of Kali aliens, numbering five."
"Hmm." Cui Ming's response was still concise, without any extra emotion, as if the killing just now was nothing more than a trivial matter to him.
He turned and walked towards the black motorcycle parked by the roadside. He twisted the throttle, and the engine roared with a deep, powerful sound. The tires screeched against the ground, sending up a string of dazzling sparks. Then, the motorcycle shot off like an arrow, and his figure quickly disappeared into the vast night, leaving only the howling sea breeze carrying away the last trace of blood at the end of the dock.
On the western side of the city, the abandoned factory district lay desolate. The dilapidated factory buildings teetered on the brink of collapse, overgrown with weeds amidst the crumbling walls. Moonlight streamed through broken windows, casting dappled shadows on the ground, creating an eerie atmosphere. The last five Kali aliens gathered in the open space in the center of the factory. Unlike their predecessors, they were the most elite combatants among the Kali, possessing thicker and sharper horns on their shoulders, their muscles bulging, exuding a powerful fighting aura. They stood in a circle, back to back, their yellow eyes warily scanning every inch of darkness around them, not daring to relax for a moment, clearly prepared for battle.
"They're here!" one of the Kali aliens suddenly screamed, his yellow eyes fixed on a shadow, his voice filled with terror.
But it's too late.
Cui Ming slowly emerged from the shadows, his black clothes stained with too much green blood. The dried and fresh bloodstains intertwined, resembling a bizarre and grotesque work of art in the moonlight. His face was expressionless, his eyes as cold as winter snow. Giving the Kali aliens no time to react or beg for mercy, he charged straight into their encirclement. His high-frequency vibrating blade clashed with the Kali aliens' sharp claws, producing a piercing metallic scraping sound that echoed sharply through the silent factory district.
Before the first Kali alien could even swing its claws, Cui Ming slashed its throat with a single stroke, green blood gushing out and splattering all over Cui Ming, but he paid no heed, his steps unwavering. The second Kali alien attempted a head-on charge, but Cui Ming dodged to the side, his vibrating blade plunging into the alien's heart with a swift twist of his wrist, ending the alien's life.
Seeing this, the third Kali alien quietly circled behind Cui Ming, attempting to launch a sneak attack. His sharp horns were aimed at Cui Ming's back, but Cui Ming seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. Without turning his head, he swung his sword backhand and accurately decapitated him. The head drew an arc in the air and fell heavily to the ground, splattering green blood everywhere.
Seeing this, the remaining fourth and fifth Kali aliens went completely berserk, abandoning their defense and lunging at Cui Ming simultaneously, their four thick horns aimed at his chest, attempting to take him down with them. Cui Ming's eyes turned cold; he immediately threw away his high-frequency vibrating blade, grabbed two horns with each hand, and then exerted tremendous force—
Click. Click.
Two crisp cracking sounds rang out one after the other, and the two Kali aliens simultaneously let out shrill screams, their bodies convulsing violently. Cui Ming did not stop; he gripped the four horns, still covered in muscle and blood, tightly, using them as weapons to plunge them into the eyes of the remaining two struggling enemies. Green fluid mixed with blood gushed out, the scene extremely gruesome.
The abandoned factory area fell silent once more, save for Choi Myung's heavy breathing and the patter of blood dripping onto the ground. Choi Myung stood amidst five mutilated corpses, looking down at his hands. The green blood had dried, forming a dark, hard crust on his skin, clinging tightly to his skin. He raised his hand, casually wiping the blood from his face with his sleeve, then turned and walked towards the motorcycle parked outside the factory, his shadow stretching long in the moonlight.
The communicator rang again, and Lindis's voice remained calm, tinged with a hint of relief: "Is it over?"
"It's over." Cui Ming's voice remained calm, devoid of any emotion.
"Let's go home for dinner?" Lindis's voice softened, carrying a hint of warmth.
"Ah."
The motorcycle engine roared to life again. Cui Ming twisted the throttle, and the motorcycle sped towards home. His figure quickly disappeared into the night, merging into the vast darkness. Behind him, the corpses of five Kali aliens were slowly turning to ashes, scattered by the cool night wind, drifting in every corner of the abandoned factory, as if they had never existed on this planet.
Meanwhile, at NERV headquarters, in a brightly lit office, a technician who was working overtime rubbed his sore eyes, looked at the anomalous energy signal that had completely disappeared on the satellite image, yawned widely, picked up a pen, and carefully wrote on the monitoring report: "No anomalies tonight."
Few people knew that on this seemingly calm night, a silent alien invasion plan was completely thwarted by a vengeful man.
Cui Ming was simply holding a grudge. He remembered the destruction and threats these outsiders brought to his world, so he would eliminate them one by one, leaving no trace. (End of Chapter)
