Chapter 1293
Kali Alien: Oh no! I have horns!!!
Kali aliens, extremely dangerous and terrifying aliens.
In the files of the Space Garrison, this race is marked as the highest level of threat. They are vicious and relentlessly attack women in human-sized forms, using cruel methods that often leave their victims physically and mentally devastated. Two curved horns grow from their shoulders; these are the source of their power and the symbol of their race.
This is how it should have been.
However, recently, the Kali aliens have been having a run of bad luck.
Third New Tokyo City, commercial district, afternoon.
Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the skyscrapers, and pedestrians hurried by, unnoticing the two furtive figures at the alley entrance. The Kali aliens appeared together; their skin was a sickly grayish-green, their eyes glowed yellow, and a nauseating smile played on their lips. They had caught the scent of their prey—not far ahead, a green-haired woman stood alone in front of a shop window, seemingly selecting jewelry.
However, the target they set their sights on was not a good choice.
Lindis, Cui Ming's wife, is skilled in combat using a longsword.
She casually glanced at the silver necklace in the shop window, but she had already sensed the malice behind her. As a warrior who had traversed countless battlefields, her intuition was sharper than radar. As the two aliens crept closer, her fingers were already on the hilt of the sword at her waist—a seemingly ordinary decorative longsword, but in reality, a divine weapon capable of cutting through steel.
Winged stealth soldier.
It is very powerful.
Especially since she can actually transform into Ultraman.
As the Kali aliens attacked her, the first monster pounced from behind, its claws aimed straight for her throat.
Lindis didn't turn around, but merely turned slightly to the side, the cold light of her drawn sword drawing an arc in the sunlight. The light was so fast that it was almost impossible for the naked eye to catch it. With a "whoosh," the Kali alien's body froze in mid-air, then slowly split in two, blood splattering onto the wall at the alley entrance, emitting a corrosive hissing sound.
“The first one.” Lindis flicked the blood off her sword, her tone as flat as if she were listing items on a shopping list.
Meanwhile, Cui Ming, who was shopping with Lindis, was even more brutal.
The second Kali alien was stunned. He looked at the remains of his companion, then at the green-haired woman, and finally at the man walking from the street corner. He was a human male dressed casually, carrying two shopping bags, looking like an ordinary husband accompanying his wife shopping.
But the Kali aliens' instincts screamed for danger.
Cui Ming put down the shopping bag and stretched his wrists. His expression showed no anger or disgust, only calm.
It felt like seeing two annoying mosquitoes buzzing in my ear.
The Kali alien turned to flee, but Cui Ming had already grabbed his shoulders. His hands gripped the two curved horns, his muscles tensed, and then—
Click.
It wasn't a snapping sound, but the sound of something being uprooted. Blood gushed out, splattering onto Cui Ming's hands and face. He expressionlessly shook his hand, throwing the two still-muscular horns to the ground with a dull thud.
The Kali alien collapsed to the ground, his shoulder wound a bloody mess, his body convulsing violently. Cui Ming stepped on his chest, looking down at the struggling alien beneath his feet.
A muffled thud, and the street fell silent again.
Lindis walked over, her longsword already sheathed. She glanced at the two corpses on the ground, then at the red blood splattered on Cui Ming's face, sighed, and took a wet wipe from her bag.
“Wipe your face,” she said. “The color of blood is ugly.”
Cui Ming took the wet wipe and casually wiped his face.
“It’s alright,” Lyndis said, taking his arm. “NERV will handle it anyway. Shall we continue shopping? There’s a store up ahead with some nice earrings.”
Cui Ming nodded and picked up his shopping bag. The two continued walking as if nothing had happened. The sun was still shining brightly, and pedestrians were still hurrying by. Only the two dissipating corpses at the alley entrance proved what had just happened.
In the distance, on the rooftop of a tall building, a Kali alien scout witnessed the entire event. His legs trembled uncontrollably, and his red eyes were filled with disbelief. He activated his communicator, his voice hoarse:
"Retreat! Retreat immediately! Monsters on the target planet!"
With communications cut off, the scouts turned and fled, disappearing between buildings as they tumbled and crawled.
In a café in the business district, Kaworu put down his binoculars, a hint of a smile flashing in his red eyes.
“Truly…violent aesthetics,” he said softly, then turned to the blue-haired boy opposite him. “Shinji, what would you like to drink?”
Shinji Ikari lowered his head, the tips of his ears turning slightly red: "Whatever."
Outside the window, the sun shines brightly, and life is peaceful.
What is a nightmare for aliens is just another ordinary day for this couple.
but
Cui Ming is a vengeful person!
So the Kali aliens have been targeted by Cui Ming!
Cui Ming was ready to kill those guys at any time.
In fact, Cui Ming is already taking advantage of these clueless aliens!
The underground parking lot of an abandoned building in Third New Tokyo City.
The dim lights flickered, and the air was thick with the stench of engine oil and mildew. A dozen or so Kali aliens huddled in the shadows, their red eyes filled with terror. They were scouts, logistics personnel, and a few combatants, originally planning to establish an outpost on this remote planet in preparation for a large-scale invasion.
But now, all they want is to go home.
"Communication is still down." A Kali alien trembled as he fiddled with the communicator. "The distress signal won't go through."
"Shut up!" the lead fighter barked, his voice trembling. "Keep quiet, or that monster might not find this place."
Before the words were finished, footsteps could be heard at the entrance of the parking lot.
Calm and steady, regular, like the metronome of death.
Cui Ming appeared in the light, carrying a high-frequency vibrating knife borrowed from NERV's armory. His expression was as calm as if he were shopping in a supermarket, his gaze sweeping over every hiding spot in the shadows.
"We've found you."
The Kali people screamed, some trying to escape, others desperately raising their weapons. But against Cui Ming, these resistances were futile. His movements were concise and efficient, devoid of unnecessary flourishes, each strike precisely severing vitals. The vibrating blade sliced through the air with a low hum, and red blood splattered in the dim light, drawing abstract patterns on the walls.
A Kali alien knelt on the ground, burying his face in his hands and begging for mercy: "Please, we were just following orders."
Cui Ming glanced down at him, then stomped on his throat and crushed it.
Silence returned to the parking lot, broken only by Cui Ming's steady breathing. He flicked the blood off his knife, glanced around to make sure nothing was missing. (End of Chapter)
