Chapter 1444
Ambera: Aha! I knew you had a sharp tongue!
The Alien Abera has left again.
The spatial rift slowly closed, and the dark energy dissipated into the air like the receding tide. The Yapool lay in the ruins, waiting a full five minutes to confirm that the terrifying pressure had truly disappeared before cautiously getting up.
It stood up with a bruised and swollen face.
Half of its face was swollen, its single eye was squinted into a slit, two of its horn-like parts were broken off, and only one remained hanging crookedly on its head. Its body was covered with footprints and marks from the burning of dark energy. It shook off the remnants of the culture fluid on its body, then looked up at the sky—if there was a sky in this other dimension.
It felt like it was being targeted!
Those despicable Alien Abe!
"Waaaaah, that was so damn vicious!"
Yapool plopped down on the ground, hugging his knees like a school bully who had been thoroughly humiliated. Liquid formed from condensed extradimensional energy dripped from his single eye. "Why?! Why can you go to Cui Ming's dreams to find him?! Why can you call yourself your nemesis?! Why can you land punches on me?! I can only create Super Beasts! So what if I create Super Beasts?! I create Super Beasts out of love!"
The more it cried, the more heartbroken and aggrieved it became. Its voice echoed in the empty laboratory, like the wailing of some ancient vengeful spirit.
"And to prevent me from being resurrected after death, they won't kill me! They're even restricting my ability to die!!!"
The Yapool suddenly raised his head, his single eye burning with grief and indignation. "What is this! What kind of treatment is this! You won't kill me, you won't release me! What do you take me for?! A pet?! A leek to be harvested?! A... a piece of trash like that Kirieloid?!"
It was so angry that it trembled all over, even its horned parts were shaking, and it grabbed a piece of petri dish fragment and smashed it on the ground.
"Damn it!!! Damn it all!!!!"
The shards bounced up and cut its foot. It howled in pain, clutching its foot and rolling on the ground, its previous anger and resentment instantly dissipating.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Damn Ambera! Damn fragments! Damn Cui Ming! Damn universe!"
At this moment, an extradimensional being peeked out from the corner and cautiously asked, "Sir...do we need...to prepare new super beasts?"
The Yabo man stopped rolling around, glanced sideways at his subordinate with his one eye, and snorted out a breath tinged with blood.
"No, let's not prepare now..."
It got up from the ground, patted the dust off its body (though it couldn't shake it off), and then shrank into the darkest corner of the laboratory, using a few broken iron plates to surround itself, leaving only one eye sticking out to warily look around.
"Yes." Although the subordinate was puzzled, he still bowed his head and withdrew.
Yapool huddled in the shadow of the iron plate, his one eye fixed on the direction where Abera had just left, his voice low and trembling with a sob:
“The Apol people are worried…”
It hugged its knees tightly, and the horn-like parts drooped to the ground.
"Don't you dare let that bastard Abe no longer be waiting for me!"
The moment the Yapool finished speaking, the next second—
A spatial rift tore open behind it with a "whoosh," and a large hand clad in black armor shot out like lightning, precisely grabbing the Yapool's last remaining, crooked horn-like part and lifting it up like a mouse caught red-handed stealing cheese.
"Ha! You really have a sharp tongue!"
Anbela Alien poked half of his body out of the crack, his scarlet eyes wide open, his face full of smug satisfaction that said, "I knew you weren't honest, kid." His mouth stretched to his ears, just like Tom the cat who had finally caught Jerry.
The Yabo man's single eye instantly bulged like a copper bell, his whole body stiffened, and the horn-like part of his body creaked as it was pinched.
"No...no...let me explain..."
"Explain what?!"
The Alien Abela burst out completely in a flash, pinning Yapool to the ground and kneading him like dough. Yapool's massive body seemed boneless in his hands, being rolled into a ball, flattened into a pancake, stretched into a noodle, and finally bounced back with a "snap," bouncing around the laboratory like a deflated balloon. "Awoooooo!!! Stop!!! Stop!!!"
"Keep going!"
The Alien Abela caught up, stomped on the bouncing Yapool, and used it as a mop, dragging it back and forth across the floor covered in culture fluid residue. Yapool's face was pressed against the floor, leaving a green trail, its single eye rolled back, and its tongue lolling out.
"I'll teach you to be so talkative! I'll teach you to keep nagging! I'll teach you to say I'll squat down on you!"
"I didn't... I mean... you bastard... no... ahhh!!!"
After mopping the floor, Abera grabbed Yapool's two legs and spun him wildly in the air like a whip, then let go with a "whoosh." Yapool flew out like a cannonball, crashing through three walls with a "boom," and became embedded in the fourth wall, impossible to pry off.
"It's not over yet!"
In a flash, Abera teleported to the wall, grabbed Yapool's head and feet with both hands, and twisted them violently in the opposite direction like wringing out a towel. Yapool's body was twisted into a pretzel shape, and extradimensional energy spewed out from his nostrils, ears, and eyes simultaneously, like a human-shaped fountain.
"I will resurrect you! I will send you to find Cui Ming! I will make you my nemesis!"
"I...I won't do it anymore...I won't do it anymore, okay..."
"late!"
The alien Amberra stuffed the twisted Yapool into a giant petri dish, packing it in like a firecracker, then lit the fuse—no, injected dark energy. The petri dish exploded with a "boom," and Yapool shot into the sky like a firework, creating a huge, ghastly green mushroom cloud on the ceiling of the other dimension.
"boom!!!"
The Yapool slid slowly down from the ceiling, like a piece of charred paper, and landed lightly on the ground, its body smoking. Its horns were all broken off, and its single eye turned into two spinning vortexes.
The alien Abera stood to the side, hands on his hips, and patted the dust off his armor with satisfaction.
"Cool."
He turned and walked toward the spatial rift, but halfway there he suddenly turned back and pointed at the muddy puddle of Yapo man on the ground: "If you dare to talk nonsense again, I'll stuff you into Cui Ming's Radiant Device next time and shoot you out like a bullet!"
"..."
The Yabo man lay on the ground, spitting bubbles, too weak even to nod.
The spatial rift closed, and the laboratory was eerily quiet.
After a full ten minutes, Yabo shakily raised a finger and weakly made a "help" gesture.
From the corner, the extradimensional being peeked out and cautiously asked, "Sir...do we need...a stretcher?"
"...Prepare the coffin."
"what?"
"Prepare a coffin for me... for that bastard Abe no Nakamaro..."
The Yabo man's head lolled to the side, and he completely lost consciousness.
Only the broken, horn-like part remained, twitching slightly on the ground, like a silent accusation. (End of Chapter)
