Chapter 1158
Sigras: Father, you're there?!
She had never imagined that the seemingly ordinary Cui Ming would possess such astonishing strength. The shock and worry she felt just moments before were now replaced by deep admiration. She even unconsciously softened her breathing, as if she hadn't yet recovered from the image of Cui Ming disappearing.
Meanwhile, on the surface of Tokyo Bay, Siglash and Simmons continued their furious rampage. The giant tornado that Siglash unleashed by flapping its wings continued to rage, sweeping away all obstacles in its path; Simmons kept pounding the sea, and the devastating tsunami advanced layer by layer, spreading towards the coastal towns, churning the sea into chaos and leaving it in ruins.
Just as the two monsters reached the peak of their power, a dazzling white light suddenly pierced the gloomy sky and crashed down beside the two monsters. When the white light dissipated, a tall and imposing red figure appeared—it was Ultraman Jack.
"."
Sigrass and Simmons froze instantly, their massive bodies trembling slightly as they completely ceased their rampage, staring blankly at Jack before them, their eyes filled with confusion. Wow, this figure...it looks exactly like the legendary Ultraman Jack! They had heard another monster couple mention Jack before; he was an Ultra Warrior who protected Earth, incredibly powerful but never easily attacking his own kind.
But... this Jack in front of me is different from the rumors. The Jack in the rumors was well-proportioned and gentle, but the one in front of me is much stronger, with sharp muscle lines and scars of varying depths all over his body. He exudes an extremely fierce and oppressive aura, and even his eyes are cold. He has no gentleness at all.
After a brief moment of confusion, the two monsters breathed a sigh of relief—thankfully, Jack didn't attack right away, so it seemed he wasn't there to eliminate them.
Sigrass was the first to raise his head, letting out a low growl at Jack, his tone tinged with grievance and explanation: "Roar!" (The humans attacked us first; we were only defending ourselves!)
Jack, now transformed from Cui Ming, slowly nodded, the coldness in his eyes fading slightly. He responded with telepathy, a language only monsters could understand: 'I know, that's why I didn't attack you. I want to ask you, since arriving in this sea area, have you detected any other unusual monster auras in the water?'
Simmons quickly roared at Jack, his voice full of confusion: "Roar!" (We don't know how we got here. We didn't see any other monsters along the way. We just wanted to find a quiet place to lay our eggs.)
"Alright." Jack nodded slightly, his tone calm as he reminded them, "But I must warn you, this sea area is rather turbulent lately. Be careful, other, even more ferocious monsters might come along. Don't let your guard down."
Sigrass and Simmons nodded vigorously, a hint of wariness flashing in their eyes—they were already afraid of encountering strong opponents, and with Jack's reminder, they dared not let their guard down.
Before they could react, Jack suddenly stretched out his huge hands and grabbed Sigras and Simmons. With a gentle effort, he lifted the two enormous monsters up as easily as if he were lifting two insignificant little things.
"I'll find you a secluded, safe place to lay your eggs, far from human settlements," Jack's thoughts echoed again. "Remember, once you're in the new place, don't attack unless provoked; if someone foolishly attacks you again, you can retaliate directly without hesitation."
Sigras and Simmons nodded hastily, but inwardly they were seething with shock and disbelief: "Damn, he just lifted us both up?! Our combined weight is tens of thousands of tons! Jack's strength is terrifying!" They could even feel the power emanating from Jack's hands, and didn't dare even think of struggling—if they really fought, they probably wouldn't be able to withstand a single blow. Jack steadily ascended into the air, carrying the two monsters. The white light surrounding him softened as they rose. Cui Ming was still calculating the value of this "investment"—Sigras's tornado could not only disrupt the enemy's formation, but if combined with Bahamut's sky power, it could form a storm barrier that swept across the heavens and earth, offering both offensive and defensive capabilities; Simmons's tsunami could resonate with Agul's ocean power, giving them an absolute advantage even against powerful enemies skilled in naval warfare.
Held aloft, Sigras and Simmons gradually recovered from their shock, their massive bodies slightly hunched over, not daring to make the slightest move. They could clearly sense the powerful strength that Jack possessed, which he could control at will. They became increasingly certain that following this "different Jack" was far safer than aimlessly dodging powerful enemies in the sea. Their earlier complaints had completely turned into secret relief.
Cui Ming glanced at his two docile monsters, the calculating glint in his eyes fading slightly. He then transmitted his thoughts to them again: 'Don't worry, the place I found for you is absolutely secluded, with plenty of seawater and no easy human interference. Once you've given birth to your cubs, just stay put. If you encounter any trouble you can't handle, I'll come over.'
Sigrass and Simmons nodded vigorously, letting out two docile growls in response to Jack. They now understood that the ferocious Jack before them was not an enemy, but rather a protector who could offer them shelter—after all, someone who could easily lift them and was willing to find them a place to lay their eggs was a being far beyond their reach.
Cui Ming said no more, carrying the two monsters, and transformed into a faint white light, flying towards the deep sea far from Tokyo Bay and untouched by humans, leaving behind only the gradually calming storm waves, a messy sea surface, and the US and Japanese high-ranking officials still in despair in the command room.
The deathly silence in the command room was broken by the trembling voice of a Japanese high-ranking officer. He slumped into his chair, his eyes unfocused yet suddenly flashing with a morbid greed. He cautiously approached the ashen-faced American officer beside him, his tone timid yet tentative: "Sir, how about we wait until those three creatures (Jack, Sigras, and Simmons) calm down, then send our elite troops to secretly capture them for research? Perhaps we can extract powerful energy from them, or even replicate their abilities. Then we won't be afraid of any monsters."
No sooner had he finished speaking than the American executive's suppressed rage erupted. He whirled around, grabbed the Japanese executive by the collar, his eyes bloodshot, and before the man could react, delivered a brutal punch to his face, knocking him to the ground. The Japanese executive screamed in agony, blood instantly trickling from his mouth, and collapsed to the floor, unable to move.
"Idiot! You're a complete and utter idiot!" The American high-ranking officer glared down at him, his roar shaking the tables and chairs in the command room. His tone was filled with extreme anger and contempt. "Are you blind? Our entire joint force was wiped out! Not even missiles could harm them, and that red giant could easily lift two giant monsters. And you actually want to capture them and study them?!"
He roared as he stomped his foot hard on the ground, venting his despair and rage: "Are you crazy? With the forces we have left, trying to catch them is no different from suicide! If we anger them, forget about research, the whole of Japan, even the whole of East Asia, will be razed to the ground! Can you fucking take responsibility for that?!"
The Japanese high-ranking official lay on the ground, blood trickling from his mouth, his eyes filled with fear and panic. He no longer dared to harbor any greedy thoughts and could only curl up, lacking even the courage to refute. He had only grasped at straws in his desperation and hadn't given much thought to the terror of those three creatures. Now, with the American high-ranking official's words pointing out his mistake, he was left with only a deep-seated fear.
The other high-ranking officials watched this scene, none daring to step forward to dissuade them. They all lowered their heads, barely daring to breathe. The roars of the American high-ranking officials were not only a rant against the Japanese high-ranking officials, but also an expression of their powerlessness and despair in the face of the monster—even tentative research ideas were tantamount to suicide.
