Chapter 941

Kirieloids: No!!! Incorrect intelligence!

Asuka stood in the center of the warehouse, carrying a giant axe, the blade still covered in dust from the previous battle. She stared at the approaching corpses, a maniacal smile spreading across her face, her grip on the axe handle tightening until her knuckles turned white.

The first corpse, dragging its anchor chain, swept towards them, the chain sparking and splattering across the ground. Asuka dodged to the side, simultaneously swinging her giant axe overhead and slamming it down on the corpse's shoulder—with a deafening crash, the axe shattered the corpse's entire left arm, scattering bone and flesh fragments onto the nearby containers. Before the corpse could react, she stepped forward, the axe blade cleaving horizontally across its torso, instantly splitting it in two. The energy core that had just emerged was stomped on by Asuka, who then slammed it down with the axe handle, causing the energy core to dissipate immediately.

The second corpse, gripping a crowbar, lunged at her abdomen. Asuka neither dodged nor evaded, but instead grabbed one end of the crowbar with her left hand and smashed the giant axe in her right hand directly at the corpse's head. With a "crack," the corpse's head shattered, and a pale red energy spurted out from its neck. She swung the axe backhand, cleaving the energy spur in two, the points of light falling to the ground and quickly disappearing.

The last two corpses lunged at her, one attacking her upper body, the other her lower body. Asuka suddenly slammed her giant axe into the ground, instantly cracking the concrete. Using the momentum, she leaped backward, landing on top of a nearby shipping container. Before the corpses could catch up, she grabbed a rope from the container's edge and swung it down at the two corpses—the giant axe swept across, cleaving the first corpse's torso into three pieces and severing the second's legs at the knees. As she landed, she delivered another blow, shattering the remaining fragments of both corpses, and also disintegrating the energy within them.

Beside a bench in the seaside plaza, six corpses dressed as tourists were wandering around in a crooked manner. Some of them were wearing short sleeves and shorts, while others were carrying backpacks. Pale red energy flowed through their limbs, making them much faster than ordinary corpses. They could even leap over the low fences in the plaza and rush straight towards Misato Katsuragi.

Misato Katsuragi stood by the fountain in the plaza, watching the manipulated corpses, a pale blue aura emanating from her. The sea breeze blew in from the sea, ruffling her clothes and making the aura around her brighter—the next second, the water in the fountain suddenly boiled, jets of water shooting out of the pool and condensing into sharp water blades in the air.

The first corpse lunged forward, and Misato Katsuragi raised her hand, sending a water blade flying out that precisely struck the corpse's throat. The corpse's head fell to the ground, rolled a few times, and came to rest under the bench. The energy core inside had just emerged when it was cleaved in two by another water blade.

The second corpse, carrying a backpack, crashed into her back. Misato Katsuragi turned, drawing a semi-circle with her hands in front of her. Instantly, the water in the fountain formed a wall, blocking the corpse. Then, the water wall transformed into countless tiny water arrows, shooting densely at the corpse—its torso was riddled with holes by the arrows, quickly shattering into pieces, its energy dissipating under the impact.

The remaining four corpses attempted to surround her from different directions, but Misato Katsuragi merely sneered and slammed her hands down. The seawater around the plaza suddenly surged ashore, forming a massive whirlpool that engulfed all four corpses. The whirlpool spun faster and faster, shredding the corpses within. Fragments of their short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and backpacks spun with the current. The pale red energy entities, unable to escape the water, were quickly compressed into tiny specks of light by the whirlpool's force, falling onto the beach as the current receded and disappearing into the sea.

"What?! They're all dead?!"

The leader of the Kirieloid action team abruptly straightened up, his energy-based body trembling with shock. He stared intently at his subordinate who had delivered the message, unable to believe what he was hearing—the four teams dispatched, each targeting Saeko Busujima, Miyuki Aiba, Asuka, and Misato Katsuragi, each equipped with an energy core capable of controlling corpses, how could they all be dead?

Damn! What's going on?
The team leader's mind was in turmoil. During the previous investigation, he had clearly thought that those people were just "ordinary people around Storm One," and even if they had some abilities, they could never withstand the siege of four teams. But now, the news from his subordinates was that all the teams had been wiped out, even the corpses they were controlling had been torn to pieces, and the energy bodies had not left a trace.

Everyone's dead?!
The thought kept exploding in his mind, making him want to scream—No way! Are all the women around Storm One this powerful?! They look no different from ordinary humans, so how can they have the strength to tear apart energy bodies and crush a team? Is this normal?!

This is not normal! This is absolutely not normal!!!
The team leader completely lost control; the light from his energy body flickered, filled with uncontrollable rage and fear. He had originally thought that capturing those around Storm One would allow him to blackmail the man, but now it seemed he had not only failed to find a weakness, but had also provoked a group of ruthless characters even more difficult to deal with than Storm One himself. What kind of damned lunatics were Storm One and his family?!
Damn it! ! !

He slammed his fist into the rock wall beside him, the sound of the rock shattering barely suppressing his inner turmoil—if he had known these women were so capable, he would never have chosen such a suicidal plan. Now, not only had he failed to achieve his goal, but he had also lost four elite teams. How was he going to explain this to his superiors?
The team leader suddenly stopped, a name flashing through his chaotic thoughts—Wait! Camilla!
Yes! And Camilla too!
As if grasping at a last straw, he abruptly turned to his subordinate, his voice carrying a barely perceptible hint of expectation: "How's Camilla doing? Surely there's some news from that team?"

In his opinion, everyone else was pretty inhuman, but Camilla should be normal, right? Even if she had some abilities, she should be easier to deal with than the other four. Maybe she could bring back some good news and make up for some of the losses.

The subordinate flinched, his voice trembling: "My lord, the men we sent to deal with Camilla were shredded to pieces by her light whip."

"."

The team leader froze on the spot, his energy-based body even stopping its fluctuations. More shredded than meat? He could even picture it—the light whip, glowing with a ghostly blue light, slicing his subordinates into tiny pieces like tofu, not even their energy forms escaping, completely disintegrating into uncoordinated specks of light.

The shock and rage from before hadn't subsided, and now this news had poured a bucket of ice water on them, chilling them to the bone. Not only were all four teams wiped out, but even the team targeting Camilla met such a miserable end. The people he sent out were practically like ingredients delivered to his doorstep to be chopped up.

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but found that he couldn't even make a sound—what he thought were their "weak points" turned out to be ruthless characters who could crush them; the "blackmail" he had planned had turned into a complete joke.

Just how much terrifying power does the Storm One family possess that he doesn't know about? The moment this thought crossed his mind, his energy body couldn't help but feel a chill.

Damn it! No way!

This whole family is abnormal!!!
