Chapter 1309
Mazar People: Hahaha! Ace and Storm 1 aren't here!!!
Deep within the lava, space suddenly distorted, and a purplish-black energy vortex tore a rift in the magma. The Mazar people squeezed out of the rift, their bodies stretching in the extreme heat, letting out exhilarating roars.
"Hahahaha! I'm finally resurrected! And in a completely new world! There's no Storm One here! Hahahaha! What the hell is that ugly thing?!"
It laughed maniacally as it rolled around in the lava, its tentacles slapping the surface and splashing up huge sprays of scorching water. Without that damned god of death, without that madman chasing after it with that strange weapon, this world was practically paradise!
Then it saw the fetal angel Sandmae curled up in a crevice in the rocks not far away.
The angel also sensed this unexpected intruder and extended its sensory organs from the crevice in the rock. The two beings stared at each other in the lava.
The laughter of the Mazar people came to an abrupt halt.
The fetal angel, Sandafeng, was also dumbfounded. What was this purplish-black, twisted mass of flesh? Its writhing manner was so primitive, its form so crude; it was an insult to the very nature of life.
“...Ugly.” The fetal angel emitted a mental fluctuation; although the language was different, the meaning of disgust was crystal clear.
"Who are you calling ugly?! You red blob, you're the ugly one!"
“A despicable form.”
"court death!"
The two creatures erupted simultaneously, colliding in the lava. The scorching magma was churned violently, bubbles rising and bursting wildly. The Mazar's tentacles lashed at the angel's carapace, while the angel's wings of light transformed into sharp blades that slashed back. The two monsters rolled and fought deep within the lava, each believing themselves to be the righteous side, and that the ugly thing opposite them must die.
At this moment, the Mazar people have not yet fully resurrected, and the fetal angels have not yet hatched.
These two are like babies battling it out.
The two fought fiercely, creating chaos and upheaval in the lava.
The Mazar's tentacles lashed against the angel's carapace, producing a dull thud. Dark purple energy and red wings of light intertwined and collided in the magma, each impact creating a massive vortex. The angel let out an angry shriek, its wings of light transforming into sharp blades that slashed across the Mazar's flesh, leaving charred wounds. The two monsters rolled and fought, neither willing to yield an inch.
What they didn't know was that each energy collision produced violent fluctuations, like someone throwing a boulder into a calm lake, with ripples spreading outwards in circles.
A piercing alarm suddenly sounded at the NERV monitoring center.
Two abnormal signals flashed simultaneously on the screen, red waveforms jumping wildly, and values skyrocketing. The operator stared wide-eyed at the monitor, his fingers flying across the keyboard: "Report! High-energy reaction detected deep within the lava layer! Wave characteristic analysis... one is a field fluctuation unique to the Apostles, the other... another unidentifiable, an energy spectrum never seen before!"
Cui Ming stood in the center of the command room, his hands resting on the control panel, his gaze fixed on the two intertwined dots of light on the screen. His pupils contracted slightly, his brows furrowed, and his eyes sharpened like knives.
"The fluctuations of an Apostle and... an extradimensional being?" he muttered to himself, a dangerous glint in his voice. "One is a fetal angel, the other..."
He suddenly straightened up and slammed his fist heavily on the control panel, making the screen shake.
“The Mazar people.” Cui Ming squeezed out the name through gritted teeth, his eyes so dark they could drip water. “I knew it wouldn’t be so easy to die. They actually came back to life in this world and even ran into an apostle.”
He turned and grabbed his coat hanging on the back of the chair. With a swift and decisive movement, he strode toward the door and coldly ordered, "Prepare infiltration equipment. Target: lava layer. I'm going to meet this old rival and see if I can snag a loot."
Cui Ming walked to the armory door, his hand already on the doorknob, ready to retrieve his high-temperature diving gear. He paused, thought for a moment, and shook his head. "Never mind."
He raised his left hand, the Ultraman ring on his middle finger gleaming silver under the light. He crossed his hands into a cross, the rings touching and bursting into a dazzling light.
"Ace!"
The light engulfed his body, and a huge silver figure appeared above the base, transforming into a streak of light that shot straight toward the crater.
Deep within the lava, the Mazar finally grew weary of its struggle with the Angelic Fetus. With a roar, its purplish-black body twisted, deformed, expanded, and reshaped, ultimately transforming into that familiar form—the Magma Superman, its crimson body flowing with lava patterns, its eyes burning with savage flames.
"Ugly creature, witness true power!"
Just as it was about to launch an attack, its entire body suddenly froze.
It was a chilling, bone-deep dread, an instant awakening of the deepest fear within its soul. The Mazar slowly turned its head, its sensory antennae trembling wildly; it had sensed it—
That aura!
That most terrifying aura that has awakened it from countless nightmares!
Ace?!
The Mazar's lava body began to tremble uncontrollably, its crimson color fading to a ghastly white. It tried to escape, but its legs seemed to be nailed to the lava.
"No...it's impossible..." Its voice changed tone, becoming shrill like a terrified little girl, "How could he be here?! Shouldn't he be in another world?! Ahh ...
The fetal angel stared blankly as its once invincible opponent suddenly fled in terror, rolling wildly in the lava and shouting incomprehensible words. For a moment, the angel was unsure whether to seize the opportunity to finish the job.
Ace descended from the sky, his massive body enveloped in light, appearing as a silver-red figure above the crater. He landed steadily on the edge of the lava lake, the rocks beneath his feet instantly cracking, and waves of scorching heat rippled outwards.
The two guys, who were fighting, were so scared that they hugged each other.
The Mazar's lava superhuman form clung tightly to the Angel's carapace, its four arms wrapped tightly around it, its fingertips digging into the gaps in the Angel's shell. The Angel, not to be outdone, folded its wings of light into a defensive stance, its entire body shrinking into a ball, and in turn, tightly gripped the Mazar's waist. The two monsters rolled together in the lava, trembling, all traces of their earlier shouting and taunting demeanor gone.
"Why the hell didn't you say this thing was here?!" The Mazar-man emitted a sharp mental shock, his voice cracking and trembling with tears. "I thought Ultraman didn't exist in this world! You've ruined me! If I get cut into eighteen pieces and grilled, are you going to take responsibility?!"
"How would I know! This is the first time I've ever seen this thing!" The angelic scream grew even more shrill, its sensory organs trembling wildly. "I thought you were the intruder! If I had known this thing was in the lava, I would have run away long ago! You've got me in trouble! You ugly monster appearing in my territory and you're blaming me?!"
"Who are you calling ugly! This is not the time to argue!" The Mazar woman buried her face behind the angel's carapace, only her terrified eyes showing. "He's looking at me! He's looking at me! I'm going to die! I'm going to die!"
You're pressing on my wound! Let go!
"I won't let go! If I let go, I'll fall and he'll catch me!"
The two monsters clung even tighter, huddled together in the lava, pushing and shoving each other, wanting to escape their bondage yet afraid to truly separate and face the silver-red giant approaching them. With each step Ace took, the ground trembled, and their fear deepened. (End of Chapter)
