Chapter 45
Uploaded Memories
"Which club would like to share their intelligence first?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the meeting room erupted in commotion, with members from various clubs whispering amongst themselves.
"The UN is officially leading this? I think it's the Bald Eagle Society that's leading it?"
"Have you no shame? Asking for other people's information so directly?"
"Shame on them? Can shame feed them or boost their stock price? Their bald eagle stock is about to crash, they're just desperate."
"Unnecessary losses? That's laughable. Only they and their lackeys suffer losses. Who else is losing money?"
A barrage of insults erupted, but the clubs probably left long ago because of the presence of official UN representatives on stage.
"Quiet, everyone," Anderson said, pressing his arms down. "Quiet..."
Anderson's voice amplified through the microphone in his collar, but it couldn't suppress the order in the conference room.
Just as some club leaders thought that the matter was settled and could not be resolved, they were about to leave.
"I said! Quiet!" Anderson's voice suddenly rose, his tone sinister, with a hint of murderous intent.
Then the conference room door behind him suddenly opened, and three dark figures flashed past the door and instantly appeared in front of the stage, pointing rifles at the audience.
The speed was unbelievable, but compared to that speed, it was surprising to see a gun being pulled out here.
"What?!"
Upon hearing the commotion, several security personnel outside the conference room immediately entered and confronted the three people on the stage at the door.
The hundred or so people in the conference room were all shocked. What was he trying to do? This was within the official premises of the Dragon Kingdom! Did he have a death wish?
Some of these people were frightened, some were surprised, and some were incredulous.
Overall, the meeting room did quiet down.
Anderson waved his hands downwards, and then the three men put down their guns.
"Right, calm down first, let's have a proper discussion." Anderson grinned, "Let me introduce these three to you."
"The two on the left are John Cole, who failed in both of his dangerous prison missions and caused the team to get lost twice."
"The man on the right is their former supervisor, Mr. Miles."
"Because of their personal problems," Anderson emphasized the word "personal," "the missions failed twice, causing serious losses to the Bald Eagle Society."
Anderson finished speaking and gave a bright smile, but in the current atmosphere, such a smile was really creepy.
Li Hao then noticed that John and Cole were indeed team members he had met before, but their current situation was a bit strange.
The two stood straight in front of the stage, their eyes staring straight ahead, their gazes unfocused and lifeless.
In the real world, they were still wearing combat uniforms, complete with armor, bulletproof vests, and helmets, and each of them had combat goggles on their faces, with two black metal strips connecting them from behind to their bodies.
"In the next operation, as you will see, these three will use the Bald Eagle Association's brand-new technology."
"As for their combat experience in these two all-out battles against the warden, I'll share it with you here first, hoping to get the ball rolling and that everyone can share their information as well."
Anderson double-tap the rim of his eye with his finger, then points at John, "John, upload your memory information."
"Yes." John's voice was dry and devoid of any emotion.
He then reached behind his neck, pulled out a wire, and plugged it into the multimedia device that Anderson had brought in advance.
On the big screen, there was a moment of screen flickering, and then the picture was played.
The scene shows the administrative area of Tide Prison, where piercing laughter erupts: "The curtain rises! A funeral turned into a celebration! Ahahahahaha!"
A strong figure wearing a helmet completely covered in sheet metal and dressed in a yellow prison uniform rushed out from the stairwell.
George stared and yelled, "What the hell are those things? The warden's guards? Weren't they just guards with shields before?"
Scenes from today's operation were played out one by one.
The image resolution is extremely high, but the edges of the video have a blurry texture.
"Did the Bald Eagle Squad use live streaming technology today?"
"No? If we used live camera technology, everyone could see it, right?"
The images on the big screen were not completely continuous, but the general sequence of events was understandable. The images jumped around several times before finally arriving at the warden's interrogation of the warden.
The map boss captures players and knows not only the player's red-item technology, but also the player's fear of getting lost.
This intelligence once again ignited the conference room, this time not with sarcasm towards the bald eagle, but with panic.
The chaos lasted for several minutes. This time, Anderson didn't intervene until someone shouted, "Where did you get this footage from? The live camera system isn't running today!"
Anderson straightened his back and returned to the center of the stage with a smile.
"This is the Bald Eagle Association's brand-new technology, the brain-computer interface. These images are not videos, but memories directly uploaded by our Agent John through the brain-computer interface."
As soon as he finished speaking, the meeting room erupted in chaos once again.
"Brain-computer interface? Directly uploading memories?"
"This is terrifying! Who has any privacy now? And look at John's eyes! What's the difference between him and a dead man?"
Li Hao stared at John's face and the data cable behind his neck. He felt his hands trembling slightly. Taking advantage of a lull in the chaos, he quickly opened his phone and started editing.
"I've made up my mind. I'll prioritize researching items that can block electronic devices. Urgent!"
It was then sent out immediately.
"Everyone, quiet down," Anderson said without raising his voice, but the conference room quickly fell silent.
"Everyone, as you've seen, John and his team encountered a new NPC team. After defeating them, the warden appeared and imprisoned our operators."
"Everyone, there are two powerful map bosses on one map, and the warden's behavior has completely overturned our understanding of NPCs in dangerous areas."
"It's more like a person now, or is it some kind of alien creature?" Anderson joked, thinking he was being humorous.
"He will imprison agents and steal our secrets; we must unite and take this seriously."
"And our Bald Eagle Association, as the vanguard in the fight against the prison map boss, has no choice but to take the lead! What do you all think?"
Each club felt that the Bald Eagles were completely shameless, but unfortunately, since they had indeed obtained firsthand information from the warden, none of the six club managers raised any objections.
Anderson nodded in satisfaction.
"Then let's begin the exchange. Each club can share their discoveries and insights about the prison map."
His gaze swept around the crowd, finally landing precisely on Li Hao, who was sitting in the middle of the group.
"Then let's start with the only one who benefited the most from prison, Dragon Club Agent Li Hao, who will share first. Let's give him a round of applause."
Anderson looked at Li Hao with a forced smile and gently clapped his hands for him.
The meeting room fell silent, and no one objected anymore.
Gradually, enthusiastic applause filled the conference room.
