Chapter 65
Encirclement and Suppression
"What kind of rotten fish were sent here?" Before the Tide Prison opened, Han Che was still sitting in his office chair watching the reporter's live broadcast as usual.
The three people he wanted to see were not in the picture.
Instead, a completely new face has emerged for the Bald Eagle Society.
And six casual players dressed in tattered clothes.
"Okay, it seems this has given them confidence."
[The Tidal Prison is about to open. Please prepare, host.]
Shi Ding entered the office. "Your Excellency, Warden, what are the tactical arrangements for today?"
Han Che coldly fastened his white mask and said, "Free tactics, play as you please, leave no one alive."
……
"Where...where am I?"
Several lone individuals gathered together, the surrounding environment filled with low rumbling sounds.
"This is the laundry room, you bumpkin." The leader of the Bald Eagle Squad pushed aside a group of scattered people and walked through them.
"None of you know how to use a map. What are you doing in prison? Coming here to die?"
The squad leader sneered at the cowardly behavior of the few lone wolves who dared not speak out, and spat on the ground.
"Here it is, hurry up and search. Look through those shady buildings and garbage trucks, you might find the treasure you're looking for inside."
He casually opened a washing machine, took out a white object, and threw it among the group of people.
"Suck, suck, suck, eat up!"
A Bald Eagles team member ran up, and the captain whispered, "Captain, isn't this a bit inappropriate?"
"Didn't that kid Cooper tell us to be a little more arrogant? Hey, who cares? They're just a bunch of poor losers anyway, they won't dare to do anything to us."
Indeed, the members and individuals of these small clubs are no match for the Bald Eagle Association, which has US ties.
"I really don't know why Cooper gave such instructions, it's really strange," the team member muttered.
"Captain, what do we do if we really run into the warden?" another team member asked.
The captain's expression turned serious when the warden was mentioned.
"It's alright. Based on my analysis of previous videos, the Warden, the boss of this map, is only strong in melee combat."
"His Ash-12 rifle, although powerful and with a rate of fire far exceeding expectations, will have its power drop sharply once the distance increases."
"And in mid-to-long-range combat," the captain glanced at the M4A1 in his hand, "the advantage lies with us!!"
"Alright, we've searched this area enough, let's move on to the next one." Captain Bald Eagle called to the scattered men who were still scraping the ground.
"Be careful when queuing! The NPCs on this map are really good at pedicures. Even if you're wearing level 6 armor, you'll still suffer if you don't queue up!"
"I'll teach you how to arrange the positions." The bald eagle squad leader opened a door and leaned half his body out to the side.
"Like me—" he deliberately dragged out the sound.
"Tilting his head and going out—" He deliberately slowed down his movements.
"Observe with your peripheral vision—"
As it turned out, he saw a Bison gun pointed directly at him not far outside the door.
Da da da.
The bullets from the Bison submachine gun struck his level 4 helmet, sending sparks flying and making his head buzz.
The squad leader's hair stood on end, and he broke out in a cold sweat. He quickly regained his balance and sat down on the ground with a thud.
"Enemy attack!" Everyone reacted immediately upon hearing the gunshots.
The members of the Bald Eagle Squad immediately grabbed their squad leader's arm and dragged him away from the doorway.
But then no sound came from outside the door.
The two Bald Eagle team members exchanged a glance, nodded, and peered out the door from either side to observe the situation outside. They found that there was no one there.
"They ran away?"
Where they couldn't see, the prison guard had already run far away.
"Warden, target spotted! Enemy position in the laundry room! Level 4 armor suit, M4A1 weapon. Requesting backup!"
The prison guard retreated while contacting the warden via walkie-talkie.
"Captain, are you alright, Captain?" One of them helped the squad leader, who was slumped on the ground.
His level 4 helmet was completely shattered, and his health bar was more than half empty.
Fortunately, the bullets from that Bison submachine gun weren't high-level, otherwise they would have already respawned outside the portal.
He took a medkit from his ammunition pouch and replenished his health. After a while, he recovered. "Where's the prison guard?"
"We peeked out again, but we didn't see him. We guessed he had run away."
"Damn it, they actually camped here and tricked me!" But before he could continue complaining, noisy footsteps came from all directions of their room.
The door suddenly swung open, and two shield bearers walked in side by side, followed closely by several prison guards who opened fire with submachine guns.
The Bald Eagle Squad was shocked by what they saw and immediately retreated in the direction they had come from.
"Quick, run!" Upon seeing this formation, the scattered soldiers were thrown into chaos and retreated without regard for their formation.
"Slow down, don't panic, keep formation!"
The bald eagle squad leader was still trying to direct the scattered men's actions, but why would they pay attention to him?
They immediately evacuated the laundry room through the back door.
When the Bald Eagle Squad helped their squad leader up and led him to the back door...
Another group of prison guards had already surrounded them.
Their instinct was to retreat back into the house, but the shield bearers behind them were already in pursuit.
With no other option, they had to bite the bullet and push their way out.
"Cover! Cover!" The three Bald Eagles members, being top-tier club operatives, managed to break through with their excellent teamwork.
Behind them, Lin Feng held his breath, raised his QBZ rifle, and at the last moment before they disappeared around the corner, fired a bullet that pierced through level 4 armor and lodged in the back of one of the team members.
The man felt a sharp pain in his back, stumbled, and nearly fell to the ground.
"Run! This is a level 5 bullet!" He coughed up blood, forcibly steadied himself, and caught up with the group.
Seeing the three figures disappear, Lin Feng shook his head and then followed the troops in pursuit.
Whether they were lone wolves, small clubs, or the Bald Eagle Squad, they had never seen all the prison guards come out in droves to surround and intercept them.
Dense footsteps and gunshots rang out from all around them, getting closer and closer.
Unlike the prison where the ravens had appeared, this time the gunshots and footsteps had a clear target.
This is a group of hunters who are closing in on their prey.
"Quick, that corner ahead, turn there and you'll reach the loading area. Go into the water from there, and they won't be able to catch up with us."
A ray of sunlight shone through the doorway, illuminating the corner.
The three members of the Bald Eagle Squad gritted their teeth and gave it their all, determined to reach that place.
Finally, they rounded the corner, and the warm, slightly glaring sunlight shone directly on their faces.
They saw the tall, thin man in the black trench coat standing with his back to them in the middle of the road.
Several corpses lay scattered at his feet.
The three men's arrival coincided with the warden turning around to look.
Blood-red eyes flashed from behind the pale mask.
"The net of justice is vast, and all crimes will be punished. You have no chance of winning."
