Chapter 15

Narration

"Moreover, there is a newly built military outpost in front of that hospital, where most of the zombies have already been eliminated."

Rick was certain he wasn't mistaken; the walker density in Kings County was extremely low, and hordes of walkers could only be seen at night.

Caesar's smile widened: "Where are you from?"

"King's County!"

"Are you familiar with the gun shops and most places with guns in Kingsshire?"

Rip glanced at Caesar, and based on his familiarity with Caesar, he already realized what Caesar was planning to do.

Rick didn't know why Caesar asked that, but he nodded and looked at Sean.

"We issued gun dealership licenses to many gun shops and gun licenses to many people."

Hearing what he wanted to hear, Caesar no longer concealed his thoughts, "Could you draw me a map? Just a map of your King's County, with the locations of firearms marked."

"Well……"

Rick realized, "But a lot of the guns in the gun shop should have been taken away."

Caesar smiled slightly, "Just keep writing, I'll accept whatever the outcome is, good or bad."

Caesar knew, of course, that these gun shops had been ransacked.

But Caesar also knew how many guns and ammunition Kingshire had, just look at Morgan's armory.

Morgan spent several years in Kingsshire and amassed a house full of guns—a truly terrifying number.

Morgan found all of these on his own, without any gun maps to guide him.

This shows how much military equipment was left behind in King County.

As we all know, in the apocalypse, anything that falls to the ground is unwanted.

With so many guns unwanted, Caesar certainly wouldn't waste them; he'd take them all.

"Okay," Rick agreed.

"Wait a minute, I have a request."

"What are your requirements?" Caesar asked.

Rick took a deep breath: "There's a father and son in Kings County who saved my life. You can't lay a hand on them."

Rick had been a county sheriff for many years and had met all sorts of people. He knew very well that Caesar and his gang were no pushovers.

He is definitely not someone who adheres to the rules of peacetime.

Caesar nodded solemnly: "I promise I will not harm this father and son."

"I will not betray a man's promise."

Caesar clenched his fist and bumped it with Rick's.

The atmosphere was quite harmonious for a while, except for Sean, whose expression was not good and who kept a cold face.

Sean would only manage a forced smile when Rick was talking to him.

Based on Rick's understanding of Sean, he vaguely sensed that something was wrong, but dared not think about it too deeply.

The flames burned for a long time, and the heat decreased.

Rip stood up and took a lot of firewood from the pile of firewood next to him and added it to the fire.

Flames climbed onto the new firewood, crackling and popping as they burned.

The sound annoyed Sean, and he sullenly took a sip of beer.

Just then, the sound of arguing came from one part of the camp.

Everyone looked over and saw the obese Ed suddenly stand up and slap Carol across the face.

The slap was extremely heavy, and Carol fell to the ground, her face immediately swelling up and blood oozing from the corner of her mouth.

Carol covered her face, not daring to look up at Ed, and sobbed.

Ed immediately attracted everyone's attention.

As the leader at this moment, Sean stood up and walked aggressively toward Ed.

Ed was clearly a little afraid of Sean and took two steps back.

Suddenly feeling that he had acted too cowardly, he took two steps forward, about to offer some explanation.

"Sean, this is my home..."

Without saying a word, Sean delivered a powerful punch to Ed's nose.

Blood gushed from Ed's nose instantly, and he let out a scream like a pig being slaughtered. His fat limbs flailed wildly as he tried to shrink back.

Sean was furious. His leg muscles bulged, and he kicked Ed several times, hitting him squarely in the lower back.

Ed gasped, his eyes bulging.

Carol stared blankly at Ed, then suddenly realized what was happening, rushed forward and hugged Ed, crying and shaking her head as she spoke to Sean.

"Please, please stop hitting Ed. I beg you."

"Please..."

Carol's face was streaked with tears, and her cries were particularly pitiful.

Sean, panting heavily, took two steps back and saw Sophia standing to the side, stunned and terrified.

At this point, Sean didn't know how to respond, so he could only manage to squeeze out a few dry words.

"Ed, you cannot strike your wife and daughter in my camp."

"If this happens again, I'll beat you to death."

After saying that, Sean turned and left, not daring to look at the expressions on Lori's and the others' faces.

He is right.

Carl was held in Lori's arms, and both of them had the same look of terror on their faces.

Rick looked serious as he glanced at Carol, who was frantically taking care of Ed.

Caesar's gaze fell on Carol's thin shoulders. Hmm, there's really no sign of Carol's potential.

"Boss, you like this one?"

Caesar's face darkened, and without turning around, he delivered an elbow strike.

The elbow strike landed squarely on Mor's face. Even though Caesar hadn't used much force, Mor fell backward to the ground, letting out a hoarse, unpleasant laugh.

"Ha ha ha ha……"

"Your tent is mine now."

Caesar seized More's tent and then summoned his companions.

Rip, Beth, Jimmy, and Tite.

Tite didn't speak because Jimmy covered her mouth.

Tite stared straight at Jimmy.

"Okay, quiet down."

After Caesar gave the order, Jimmy released Tite, and Tite remained silent.

"Everyone be extra vigilant tonight, sleep closer together, and keep your distance from the people in the camp."

Caesar gave careful instructions.

"Is there something wrong with this group?" Rip asked.

Rip couldn't see anything wrong with this group of seemingly harmless people.

"No, they're fine, it's just that they might have dragged us into this when something happened."

Caesar explained very seriously.

The zombies storming the camp is not scary; what is scary is the chaos that ensues.

Even if the number of walkers is not large, these guys who have not yet adapted to the apocalypse can easily cause panic and chaos in the camp.

At that time, Caesar and his companions will not only have to deal with the walkers, but also be wary of this group of guys.

Therefore, Caesar needed to avoid the danger posed by these guys in the camp beforehand.

When faced with a zombie attack, Caesar can quickly gather his men and maintain formation, which is enough to deal with the zombies.

After giving his instructions, Caesar walked toward More's tent.

On the way, Caesar saw Dale standing on the roof of the RV, and the two nodded to each other.

Upon reaching Mor's tent, Caesar shooed Mor out and went to sleep inside himself.

Since Mor was no match for Caesar, he had no choice but to sleep in Daryl's tent.

The campers drifted off to sleep.

Lori lay naked in Rick's arms, feeling the breath of her former lover, and tears streamed down her face.

Not far from her, Sean silently gulped down his drink, his heart filled with bitterness.

He kept thinking to himself, why did Rick come back?

Inside the tent, where the lights were still on, Carol carefully treated Ed's wounds.

Sean's punch was very hard; Ed's eye was split open, and a lot of blood flowed out.

There was a dark bruise around his right eye.

Ed didn't hiss in pain; he simply raised his hand and slapped Carol, telling her to be gentle.

Perhaps because Sean hit hard, Ed didn't hit hard enough, and Carroll endured it without uttering a sound.

Sophia, who was waiting to the side, shrank back like a quail. Every time Ed hit her, Sophia would flinch, her eyes filled with fear.
