Chapter 4

: Outbreak! Telekinesis

"shot!"

Tony shouted immediately, pressing down on the rifle with one hand and firing wildly at the tyrant.

Ethan quickly picked up his rifle and began firing his faith shot.

While Ethan's aim is off-target and his shots are purely based on luck, Tony's enhanced perception means he almost always gets headshots. Of course, the Tyrant's large head might also be a factor in this.

However, 7.62mm bullets may sometimes fail to kill carbon-based life forms.

The bullet struck the tyrant's head, creating a shallow crater, and then the bullet lodged directly in his skull.

"Tony, is this also a miracle? Isn't this god from our side?"

"Stop talking nonsense! There's no such thing as a god! You run, hide in the cave, I'll try to distract him, and you run when you have a chance." Tony said, and quickly ran out of the cave.

He continued firing as he ran, not because Tony was a noble person or selfless, but mainly because Tony felt that Ethan's physique wouldn't hold out for long, whether as a shield or as bait. The Tyrant could easily crush him with one stomp, so it wouldn't take much effort.

Secondly, there was another reason: Tony could sense that the tyrant's eyes were fixed on him, and that he was the only target of the tyrant.

It wanted to eat itself, just like those zombies; it probably wanted to obtain more T-viruses by eating.

"Come on, you bastard, you bald guy!" Tony looked at the bald head that the tyrant recognized and guessed that it was the guy who had ordered him to be waterboarded, the leader of the Ten Rings Gang, and the terrorist who had kidnapped him.

"Roar, roar." Perhaps angered by Tony's shouts, the Tyrant roared twice and then charged toward Tony at a faster pace.

Tony continued firing at the tyrant as he ran. When he ran out of bullets, he threw the gun aside, picked up a new rifle from the ground, and continued firing.

Rifles were common in the terrorist camp, and the constant firepower was an attempt to slow the tyrant's advance while he searched for more lethal weapons as he ran.

Having endured so many bullets in his head, the tyrant had learned to feel pain and no longer charged forward recklessly. He raised his right hand to block in front of him, his thick arm acting as a shield to stop all the bullets.

The bullets struck the rock-like muscles, leaving only faint marks, and the tyrant's pursuit of Tony suddenly accelerated.

Tony kept dodging among the clutter in the camp, searching for usable weapons, and finally found some useful ones.

"Hey! Monster, try this."

Tony pulled the pin on the grenade, waited a few seconds, and then aimed at the Tyrant and threw it.

The tyrant was still charging forward headlong when the grenade was trampled under his feet and exploded with a bang.

With a deafening roar, smoke billowed everywhere.

"The grenade was somewhat useful; at least it crippled you."

Tony didn't dare stop and threw a few more grenades, one after another, before cautiously standing at a distance and waiting for the smoke to clear.

As the smoke gradually dissipated, a figure suddenly rushed out of it.

The Tyrant moved on all fours at incredible speed, reaching Tony in the blink of an eye.

Tony had no time to escape; in his haste, he only had time to hold his rifle across his chest to block the monster's charge.

With a snap, the metal gun broke off, and Tony flew away like a rag doll, crashing into several boxes before slamming into the mountainside with a loud crack.

Finally, he slowly fell to the ground, vomiting a mouthful of blood with a "whoosh".

"Damn, there's a second stage?!"

The tyrant's entire form has changed. If before it was just the oppressive feeling brought by its enormous size that wasn't particularly terrifying, now it's a monster that has truly crawled out of a nightmare.

In its second phase, the Tyrant crawled on all fours, covered in a sticky substance, with slime dripping onto the ground, slowly and cautiously approaching Tony.

A long, barbed tongue protruded from its menacing maw, ready to taste Tony.

"I never thought that even after transmigrating, I would still end up being kissed to death by a monster. Sigh, I guess I'm just not destined to be the protagonist."

Tony watched the tongue getting closer and closer, and almost gave up. How could a super-powered zombie suddenly appear out of nowhere?

"Hey, ugly freak, look over here!" The sudden shout startled the tyrant, who was about to eat, and he turned his head 180 degrees to look at the source of the sound.

Tony looked in the direction of the sound and saw Ethan standing on a high place, holding an RPG.

The tyrant was faster; he rushed over before he spotted Ethan, who hastily pulled the trigger.

The rocket came hurtling in with a trail of flame. Ethan hit it very accurately this time, since the target was quite large and no one knew how to dodge.

Seeing that he had hit the target, Ethan quickly fired a few more shots, but this time his aim was much worse. He accidentally detonated a box containing some kind of weapon, and the huge explosion caused the mountain to collapse, with various rocks and mud burying half of the valley.

Tony looked at the swirling mud and quickly stood up. The T-virus enhancement was still very effective. He had just vomited blood from his internal organs and most likely fractured his bones, but now, apart from the pain all over his body, he could still move and could no longer feel the fractures.

They scrambled and crawled towards safety. Although they didn't all make it out, they reached the edge of the area, where the mud barely covered Tony.

In the final critical moment, he grabbed a broken wooden box and covered his head with it, preventing his mouth and nose from being covered by mud and thus avoiding suffocation.

After the collapse, Tony immediately began digging, and after a short while, he heard movement above.

"Tony, Tony, are you alright?" Ethan's voice came from upstairs.

"I'm fine, but it would be better if you took your foot off my hand."

Upon hearing Tony's words, Ethan quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, I'll dig you out right now."

"No need, move aside a bit, I can squeeze out by myself."

The T-virus enhancement was reliable. After a while, Tony felt his body had returned to normal. He pushed upwards and quickly emerged from the ground.

Looking at the completely transformed valley, Tony couldn't help but sigh, "It's finally over."

"Yeah, I think if the army is still looking for you after that explosion, they should be here soon." Ethan finally relaxed and sat down on a large rock.

"Don't worry, I'll be here soon. I'm Tony Stark, a billionaire! More importantly, I'm the biggest arms supplier to the military," Tony said confidently, already planning to give the evils of capitalism a good scolding when he got back. He'd endured the hardships, it was time for him to enjoy the good life.

"That's good, I can go home now." Ethan looked at the distant sky with a somewhat melancholy expression, as if he was thinking about something.

"Um, Ethan, where do you live? How are your family?" Tony asked casually. Although he had seen the movie before he transmigrated, it was back in 08, and Ethan was only a character who appeared once. He had long forgotten his backstory.

"Not far from here is a small town called Gemila. If there hadn't been a war, it would have been very beautiful."

"What about your family?" Tony casually replied to Ethan's question, his mind already searching for the contact information of the twelve cover girls from before. Although Tony never went back to an ex, he was the new Tony now, and they were all new girls!

"Family, yes, family. My wife is wonderful, she cooks incredibly well, my daughter is adorable and very smart. I originally planned to..."

Suddenly, a claw pierced Ethan's chest from behind, and the Tyrant crawled out of the ground.

"Ethan!"

Rage filled Tony's mind, and intense pain struck again. At the same time, his heightened senses were amplified once more. Everything around him began to appear so clear in Tony's eyes that he could feel it, touch it, as if it were an object at hand that he could pick up, throw, and play with at will.

Mind power, awakening.

The tyrant, whose body was still half-buried in the ground, was pulled out and suspended in mid-air. Then, immense forces from all directions struck, and like a watermelon under a hydraulic press, it instantly exploded.

Snow of flesh and blood fell from the sky.
