Chapter 96 Propaganda
Although he announced to the lab that he was in seclusion for research, Tony actually left Umbrella, went on vacation, and spent several days having romantic relationships with female friends before returning to the underground lab and handing over two vials of blood samples to the boss.
"This is a modified version of the serum I prepared after the injection, based on my blood sample. You can use this to purify and create a new serum."
"Okay, I'll go to the lab to do the tests right away." When the big boss first took the blood sample, he was only being very enthusiastic to save face for his boss. But when he actually observed it under the microscope, he realized how shallow he was and hurriedly ran to Tony to report his findings.
"This is truly astonishing. The blood sample you provided has become extremely stable. Previous samples were like exquisitely designed but inherently fragile genetic works of art, where any slight change would cause them to collapse. But this one is a true superhuman blood that has evolved over millions of years. Its genes are stable, and it has more possibilities for change. It is simply a masterpiece created by God."
Hearing the fervor in the boss's tone, Tony felt a little embarrassed and quickly said modestly, "It's not that bad, as long as it works."
The leader said solemnly, "This isn't just usable, it's a miracle!"
Seeing that the boss was becoming increasingly eccentric, Tony quickly changed the subject and assigned tasks: "Develop a new serum based on these blood samples as soon as possible. Let's use Bronsky as a test subject."
The leader readily agreed and said confidently, "Absolutely no problem. These blood samples are perfect. The original Hulk blood analysis process can be applied directly. If all goes well, we can produce the finished product in a day or two."
"That's good. I reckon Banner should be arriving at Greyburn College soon."
The Super Soldier Serum worked very well; at least during Tony's downtime, Bronsky, who had been seriously injured, was back to his old self.
Bronsky has been transferred to General Ross's command, and the Red Queen, after consulting with Desk, has also granted him the corresponding authority.
So during this time, Bronsky was traveling all over the world with Umbrella Corporation. Without Eric to bother him (Eric rushed to Greyburn College to arrange the final operation after delivering the blood sample), Bronsky started to entangle himself with Wesker.
"Wesker, I've contacted General Ross! I'll use the newly produced T-virus enhancer first." After being kicked away by Hulk, Bronsky decided to continue taking the drugs; if one didn't work, he'd take two.
Wesker looked at Bronsky, who was bothering him again, and said helplessly, "Mr. Bronsky, as I have already told you, there are currently no biological experiments that have simultaneously administered the super soldier serum and the T-virus enhancer, so we cannot determine the effects after the injection."
"It's okay, I believe I can handle it!" Bronsky said confidently.
Wesker looked at Bronsky with an expression of utter disbelief and said, "This isn't about whether you can handle it or not. The enhancement paths of these two methods are different, even completely opposite. The Super Soldier Serum enhances the original cellular structure of humans, giving them greater strength and faster reaction speed. The T-Virus Serum, on the other hand, modifies or even destroys the human cellular structure and then reshapes it to gain power."
Apart from Tony having a Dominator Core that can coordinate gene conflicts, the research lab has not yet found a way to balance gene conflicts.
Bronsky was a little confused when he heard this, but after being injected with the super soldier serum, his obsession was amplified, and he said defiantly, "I can give it a try. Maybe the combination of the two will make us even more powerful."
Wesker sighed helplessly. He knew it was useless to talk about science with the soldiers. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but think of Eric. Eric was better. He had gone to school and even had a doctorate. Although he wasn't a doctorate in biology, he could explain these basic principles to them.
However, Wesker already knew about Tony's plan, so he decided to tell him today.
"Although we can't give you the T-virus enhancer, we have a new enhancement program for you, one that you'll find more interesting."
Bronsky asked curiously, "What kind of enhancement? Can it enhance me to be like that monster?"
"It's the enhancement for that monster, we call it the Hulk Serum. It makes you as powerful as him, or even better in size and build."
"Strong! Enhance it immediately!" Upon hearing that he could be like the Hulk, Bronsky immediately agreed.
("Is it that simple? I was worried he wouldn't be willing. If all test subjects were this cooperative, I wouldn't have to spend so much money on buying experimental materials.")
Bronsky agreed so readily that Wesker was somewhat dazed.
Compared to Bronsky's excitement, General Ross was much more melancholy. He had to arrange for agents to secretly escort Banner and Betty all the way to Greyburn College to ensure their safe arrival.
This also means that Ross was forced to watch the two of them being intimate countless times, flirting countless times, and having passionate scenes that needed to be censored countless times.
Just as Ross was about to lose his temper and rush in to kill Banner (of course, he fired the gun, but it probably only made Hulk come out), the two finally arrived at Greyburn College.
Tony finally arrived, his sports car followed by a news van, and drove directly next to Ross's command vehicle.
Ross watched Tony get out of the sports car, and then a blonde woman got out of the passenger seat. He frowned and asked, "What's going on here? Are you planning to hold a press conference? Are you going to announce that you've found another beautiful woman?"
Tony quickly shook his head, then put his arm around the woman's waist and introduced her to Ross: "Of course not. Let me introduce you. This is Christine, the president of Infinite Networks. And this is Infinite Networks' press van. They'll be covering this big event all day!"
Upon hearing Tony's explanation, Ross's beard bristled, and he yelled, "Tony Stark, have you lost your mind? Let the media report on Hulk! Are you out of your mind to sleep with women?"
Tony laughed and explained, "I want to make a serious statement: my relationships with women aren't that complicated. To be precise, this news website is also my business."
"Then you're fucking crazy! I'm trying to block the news media, and you're going to expose me like this!" As he spoke, Ross's hand involuntarily reached for his waist, wanting to pull out his gun. He wanted to vent all the anger he had been feeling from watching his daughter's 16+ videos these past few days (Ross had censored certain scenes, so the rating wasn't 18+).
Tony quickly stepped forward and held Ross down, continuing to explain, "You have to understand, you can't stop the media. New York has no shortage of reporters who are willing to risk their lives. Rather than letting them get some footage and then fabricate news, it's better to take the initiative and get firsthand information, the clearest video. When it's released, whatever we say will be the most authoritative report."
"Then Hulk leaked it too!" Ross was still thinking of keeping it a secret for Hulk.
Tony laughed and said, "Keep it secret? It needs to be kept secret before it's finished, but now not only do we not need to keep it secret, we should start publicizing it. After all, if a nuclear bomb is detonated once, some countries might think they have a chance."
Upon hearing Tony's analogy, Ross immediately understood and tentatively asked, "You mean the first phase of the T-virus enhancement has been implemented, and the soldiers at the base have been successfully injected?"
Tony nodded and said, "Yes, not only them, but the Abomination is also in place."
