Energy Bomb

"Activate the T03 experimental subject. Mission set: Kill the unidentified armed forces that have infiltrated the testing site."

The person in the white coat who opened the box issued a command to the controller. The command was then converted and transmitted to the bio-weapon numbered T03, which was the monster's helmet.

Before T03 could even raise its axe after receiving the mission, rockets from Rumlow's side were fired.

Flames exploded in the confined space, instantly filling the area with fire.

Before the flames had even subsided, T03, wielding a giant axe, charged out, stepping on the flames like a demon bursting forth from hell.

"Keep firing!" Rumlow calmly commanded, having anticipated encountering a monster and thus not losing his composure.

The sound of rifle bullets rang out again, echoing through the laboratory. The bullets, which had been invincible in the past, now seemed to hit steel plates, only making a clattering sound as they fell to the ground, along with the approaching footsteps of T03.

The Hydra soldiers fired as they retreated, trying to maintain a safe distance using the lab's layers of partitions.

However, T03 has a relatively low IQ and doesn't know how to take detours. It just mechanically carries out its mission. When it encounters a glass partition, it swings its giant axe and smashes the partition with a bang, crashing into the bottles, jars, and various instruments in the laboratory before continuing its pursuit.

T03 was rapidly approaching the Hydra soldiers, and Rumlow gave the order:

"Use energy weapons."

Following Rumlow's order, the Hydra soldiers promptly dropped their rifles and pulled out futuristic-looking firearms. As they gripped the guns, energy lights illuminated their surfaces.

Rumlow fired the first shot, and a blue energy beam shot out from the muzzle.

Without a sound or a delay, almost instantly, the energy beam struck T03's chest.

Then a large crater appeared in T03's chest, and the muscle was instantly dissolved, revealing the blood-red internal organs inside.

"This is the real deal, fire!" Rumlow said with satisfaction, while ordering his men to begin the attack.

Instantly, a beam of blue energy illuminated the entire laboratory, obscuring the red alarm lights.

The effect was significant; T03 began to howl in pain! But the Hydra soldiers showed no mercy. After gaining the upper hand, they continued to close in and fire. T03 felt the pain, became afraid, and adopted a defensive stance, curling up into a ball to reduce the area to be attacked.

Wesker, frowning as he watched T03 fall into a passive position from his office building, picked up his walkie-talkie and spoke to the operators at the test site.

"Release the T03 restriction and stop the injection of the inhibitor."

"Received." The lab coat operator at the testing site picked up the controller again and entered the security code.

As the security code was entered, the red helmet of T03 began to disintegrate and then fell off completely, but there were still tubes connected to the T03 skull, although the red liquid in the tubes gradually decreased.

T03 felt the helmet fall off, so he ripped it off and angrily threw it far away, the broken tube scattering a few drops of red liquid in the air.

Rumlow watched the monster's strange movements. Although he didn't know what was happening, his intuition told him that he had to deal with it as soon as possible.

Rumlow then turned the control valve of the energy gun in his hand to the maximum, and the energy bar on the gun body flashed rapidly, and the temperature of the gun body also began to rise.

Rumlow pointed his gun at T03, silently thinking, "This shot will finish you off."

After gathering momentum, a massive beam of light shot out from the muzzle, a beam the size of a cannonball heading towards T03.

Without the helmet's control, T03 reverted to its beastly state. Sensing danger, its riddled body suddenly stood up, causing the energy cannon, originally aimed at its head, to strike its chest instead.

A huge hole was blown open in its chest, and the smell of burning filled the air. The massive injury finally brought a T03 down.

"Take care of them quickly." T03's sudden action made Rumlow realize that the other side had really changed, and they had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

The Hydra soldiers immediately shifted their firepower, aiming at T03's head. After all, it was a humanoid, so shooting at the head was definitely the right thing to do.

But it was too late now. Without the helmet to continuously administer the suppressant serum, T03 began to evolve again. The T-virus in its body split wildly and began to adapt to energy attacks. Its originally pale skin, which had adapted to physical attacks, began to become shiny and glow with a blue light, and it began to develop resistance to energy attacks.

The energy attacks that used to leave a hole with a single shot began to weaken, and the T03s started raising their arms to protect their heads as they moved closer to the Hydra soldiers.

After advancing a distance, one of the T03s bit the head of the fallen T03. The other followed closely behind, with tentacles emerging from the holes in its body and sticking into the bitten T03. It began to feed on it like it was drinking juice. The bitten T03's corpse quickly deflated like a punctured balloon.

"What the hell is this?" Rumlow almost lost his composure at the sight before him, but quickly regained his senses and gave the order.

"Use the energy bomb!"

Upon receiving the order, the Hydra soldiers immediately took out grenade-like objects and threw them at the two feeding T03s before quickly retreating.

Immediately afterwards, the energy bomb emitted a dense blue beam of light, which spread outwards, creating a dense network of light that shredded the laboratory into a chaotic mess.

However, the main power of the light network was concentrated around T03. Blue energy beams repeatedly pierced through it, riddling T03 with holes like a sieve. The two standing T03s collapsed with a bang and coalesced into a large mass of unidentified matter.

"It's finally over, but all the computers on this floor are now unusable. Time to move on to the next floor."

Wesker, who was watching the surveillance footage, also frowned. He hadn't expected the enemy's weapons to be so advanced; the T03 hadn't been able to perform at its full combat potential.

"Red Queen, send someone to the T0 laboratory again, release all the experimental subjects, throw them all into the T1 testing ground, and then seal off the T1 experimental building."

Wesker has decided to let the T1 experimental building and the invaders perish together. Anyway, the Red Queen has a backup of the experimental data. It's just that the goods Ross wants will probably be delayed.

The Red Queen immediately activated all the additional equipment on the monitoring system. Having learned from the previous experience of being hacked by the invisible man, all the monitoring systems in the test site were upgraded, including thermal imaging devices, infrared devices, radiation monitoring, and everything else that could be thought of.

Once the route of this Hydra intrusion is analyzed, the surveillance in the open areas will likely need to be upgraded to prevent further intrusions.

"Signs of life detected; T03 test subject is not dead."

Unlike Wesker, who discovered it through surveillance footage, the Hydra members were not so lucky. The group, who were preparing to rappel down to the next level, did not notice the ball of flesh.

After a period of ups and downs, the fleshy ball exploded with a bang, and a blue figure darted out from it, rushing to the nearest Hydra soldier and biting off his head. Before the soldier could react, a spiked tail pierced through his bulletproof vest, opening a hole in his chest.

If Tony were here, he would definitely say, "You're still too weak. How could there be no second phase when fighting a boss?"
