Chapter 140

Escape Game 2

Chapter 140 Escape Game 2
Wade tapped a pumpkin leaf next to him with his wand, and the leaf turned into a brass bell.

He rang the bell, attracting everyone's attention.

"Well, let me announce the rules."

"This is our first time playing this game, so we can keep the rules simple."

"Everyone is divided into two camps. Fred, Harry, and I are the black team, responsible for hunting down the enemy."

"The rest of you are the White Team. You can flee, hide, and of course, fight back."

"Hagrid is the referee."

"The game time is 30 minutes. After the whistle blows, you have one minute to hide or prepare. One minute later, the black team will start the 'hunt'."

"After 30 minutes, if anyone from the White Group survives, the Black Group loses; if no one from the White Group survives, the Black Group wins!"

"The rules are - no evil spells are allowed, no magic items other than wands are allowed, being hit by a spell is considered 'death', and the 'corpse' is not allowed to provide any form of help to companions."

"A group that violates the rules is immediately deemed to have failed."

"Is everything clear?"

Everyone nodded, and Fred whistled, "Hurry up and start! I can't wait!"

Hagrid had brought a large rock in advance, and he climbed up and sat down on it so that the whole place was within his sight.

"Children, are you all ready?"

"All right!"

The little wizards who had consciously divided into two groups raised their wands and shouted loudly. Even Hermione and Padma could not help but shout along.

"Okay then." Hagrid smiled happily, put the whistle in his mouth and blew it hard!
"Beep——"

A clear and sharp whistle sounded, and several members of the White Team immediately ran in all directions along the gaps between the pumpkins.

In the past few minutes, everyone had already come up with ideas on how to hide or fight back.

Hagrid stared at his pocket watch carefully, and after a minute, he blew the whistle again.

"Black Team is leaving!"

The three members of the black team did not set off immediately.

Wade and Harry immediately cast the Shield Charm on themselves. Fred exclaimed, "Wow! The Shield Charm... I don't even know how to do it!"

"Need some help?" Vader pointed his wand at him.

"Thanks," Fred said. After Wade cast the Shield Charm on him, he looked down and asked, "It seems to be different from the ordinary Shield Charm?"

"Vade's Shield Charm can last about ten minutes," Harry reminded, "and ordinary spells can only block two or three hits."

"Then I understand." Fred said, looking at the tall pumpkin next to him, and asked, "Can I climb on this one?"

Wade said: "If there is no law prohibiting it, it is possible."

So Fred climbed up.

"Want to join us?" Wade asked Harry.

Harry shook his head. "We only have thirty minutes. It will be faster if we search separately... I don't want to lose."

"Okay, good luck to you."

Wade didn't hesitate and immediately chose a direction to walk in, while Harry walked along another narrow road.

It's quiet around here.

The tall pumpkins look like small houses.

The air was filled with the fragrance of plants, and vines crisscrossed underfoot, forming invisible traps.

Harry didn't want to lose, and neither did Wade. Even if his opponents were a group of students, he would give it his all.

Vader tapped his head with his wand, and his body immediately became invisible among the pumpkins like a chameleon.

He pointed down again, and the faint sound of footsteps disappeared.

He searched along the winding road for a few minutes before he heard rapid breathing and smelled a faint fragrance.

Padma hid behind the pumpkin, holding the wand tightly in her right hand, and occasionally looked out to see if anyone was looking for her.

She didn't even notice the wand that was so close to her until a red light suddenly appeared in her sight!
"Bang!" The thin invisible armor shattered like a soap bubble. The girl was hit by the spell and fell down directly.

Before she lost consciousness, she thought angrily and confusedly: "Why didn't I see anyone?"

……

"Just half an hour... just hold on for half an hour!"

Hermione muttered as she quickly moved a few pumpkins together to form a crude barrier.

Then she pulled a few more vines together and looked out through the gaps herself.

No matter who passes by nearby, she can take action in advance and gain the upper hand!
"All petrified!"

When Hermione heard Fred whispering the spell, the petrifying curse had already fallen from the sky!

She looked back in shock, and when she fell down like a stone sculpture, she saw Fred squatting on the pumpkin, grinning:

"Several pumpkins so close together would be too conspicuous from above, Hermione!"

"All petrified!"

Another petrification spell flew out from the side and actually hit Fred.

George jumped out and looked at his brother, and was about to cheer in victory, but was hit by a spell.

"Fortunately, there is the Armor Charm."

Fred muttered, picking two leaves and covering George's surprised eyes.

"You are a corpse now, brother."

Fred said proudly, standing up and continuing to "chase and kill".

"Collapse!"

Two or three spells flew from the side at the same time, the armor shattered with a "pop", and Fred fell next to his brother in the same posture.

George, whose eyes were the only part of his body that could move, blinked happily.

"I'm sorry, but we can't remove the spell from you right now."

Theo apologized and immediately ran in the other direction.

He and Michael, Neville, and Ryan had just started to separate, but soon reunited.

"The black team has fewer people, while the white team has more. Wade is looking down on our strength!"

Michael said seriously: "We must teach them a lesson and make them the black team next time!"

The remaining three nodded seriously.

No matter how good their relationship was in normal times, they are now rivals!
……

Hearing the sound coming from another direction, Harry immediately knew that he must have gone in the wrong direction.

He looked carefully, then crouched and moved quickly in the other direction.

When he turned a pumpkin, he was caught off guard and his eyes met Ryan's.

Ryan, who was setting a trap with Michael, was stunned for a moment before he shouted, "He's here!"

Harry didn't know he could react that quickly.

Before he had any consciousness in his mind, his hands and feet began to move on their own.

"Except your weapons!"

Ryan's wand flew out.

Two spells flew towards him at an interlaced pace. Harry was tripped by vines when he was dodging. He rolled over and threw out the spell before he got up!
"Fainted! Fainted! Fainted!"

The light of the spell shot out, one beam flew into the sky, one beam hit the pumpkin and bounced back to Theo, and another beam hit Neville.

"Outflank him!"

Michael yelled, and he and Ryan ran over from both sides!
