Chapter 583

Three Fire Dragons

Chapter 583 Seven-headed Fire Dragon
Wade finished his training and returned to school from Hogsmeade. He knocked on the vanishing cabinet twice before the door slid open silently and light came in from outside.

But the person who opened the door was not Zoe, whom Wade had made an appointment with in advance, but Harry, who was supposed to be sleeping in the Gryffindor dormitory.

"You're finally back!" Before Wade could speak, Harry said quickly, "I've been waiting for you for more than half an hour."

Wade closed the door of the Vanishing Cabinet and asked, "What happened?"

Harry's brows were furrowed, his knuckles were white from exertion, there was mud on the hem of his robes, and there was a spider web in his hair.

"Dragon!" Harry said palely, "Hagrid came to see us tonight. You were not at school. He took me to see what would appear in the first project... It was a dragon!"

He said in a desperate tone: "We are finished, Vader... I saw that even adult wizards would need seven or eight people to barely control a fire dragon. The flames from their noses can spray forty feet away!"

"Oh."

Wade said as he cast a cleansing spell on Harry, who then felt much better.

"Oh? Just an 'oh'?" Harry said in disbelief: "Vade, are you scared silly?"

"Harry, if you study the history of the Triwizard Tournament, you'll know that this is not the first time a dragon has appeared in the tournament. There have been creatures more dangerous than dragons before."

Wade walked calmly to the table and sat down, then he took a bottle of drink from the cabinet and handed it to Harry, motioning for him to sit down as well.

Harry was stunned for a moment before asking, "Is there any creature more powerful than a dragon?"

"There are many, such as the Nangdu Leopard, which moves quickly and has a highly poisonous breath. It is said that it takes at least a hundred wizards to subdue it. Isn't this creature much more difficult to deal with than the fire-breathing lizard?"

Wade took a few sips of hot water and said, "There are also Chimeras, which are also very dangerous. There is only one record in history of a wizard successfully killing a Chimera. And what about fire dragons? Most fire dragons are now kept in captivity by humans as potion materials."

Harry was horrified: "Nangdu leopards and chimeras have appeared in previous competitions? How did the warriors survive at that time?"

"Oh, there were no Chimeras, but they did once use a Nundu leopard that they had raised since childhood to test the warriors' abilities," Vader said lightly.

"And then?" Harry asked concernedly.

Wade asked back, "Do you remember why the Triwizard Tournament was discontinued?"

"Because... too many people died..." Harry murmured.

"That's it." Weed shrugged and said, "Compared to that, do you think the fire dragon is acceptable?"

Harry: "..."

How come death is not death?
He felt that instead of being comforted, his life became even darker.

"I don't think I'll survive next Tuesday..." Harry said sullenly, "The dragon's scales and thick skin are permeated with ancient magic. Only the most powerful spells can penetrate them. I don't think I can do it."

"You're overthinking it. Do other people have the ability to defeat the fire dragon? The purpose of this game is to test everyone's abilities, not to send us to our deaths."

Wade said: "I guess by then, we will need to get through the fire dragon's obstruction, or get something from it... In short, we can definitely find a way to get around it."

Wade held the script in his hand, his expression calm and composed, and this emotion obviously infected Harry, even making him feel a little ashamed of the fear in his heart.

"You're right, that should be it... I want to ask Sirius, he might know how to deal with the dragon." Harry opened the Vanishing Cabinet and asked, "Wade, do you want to come with us?"

Wade shook his head and said, "I have already planned what to do if I encounter a fire dragon. There is no need to cram at the last minute."

"Okay, then I'll come back tomorrow morning." Harry didn't ask what strategy Wade had prepared, and still decided to ask Sirius for advice.

"Harry?"

"Huh?" Harry, who had already stepped one foot into the Vanishing Cabinet, turned around.

"The Flying Spell is a very useful spell." Wade said with a smile.

It was cool to fly in the sky and tease the dragon, but that was Harry's way, not Wade's own, and he wasn't very good at Quidditch.

"...Okay, Spell of the Flying Spell." Harry nodded blankly and went into the Vanishing Cabinet.

Vader walked out of the Room of Requirement, where the Vanishing Cabinet was, and whispered, "Zoe?"

"Here!" the elf responded and immediately appeared beside Wade.

"Harry has gone to Hogsmeade, remember to help him open the cupboard tomorrow morning."

"Okay." Zoe said softly.

Wade walked through the corridor to the other side of the castle, then opened the window, transformed into a peregrine falcon and flew out.

He flew high into the sky and circled the castle from a distance. When he passed over the forbidden forest, he suddenly saw the dark night sky in the distance suddenly brighten, as if a huge bonfire was lit in that place.

The Peregrine Falcon flapped its wings and flew towards the direction where the light came from - he wanted to see with his own eyes which fire dragons the Ministry of Magic had brought this time.

This place was very far from the castle, and Vader doubted whether it was still within the range of the castle's protective magic. When he approached, he heard the deafening roar of the fire dragon and the sound of people shouting.

In a relatively empty space, dozens of wizards were trying to calm a group of fire dragons. Seven or eight stunning spells were simultaneously fired at a Hungarian Horntail with black scales. The big guy opened his mouth wide and then fell to the ground with a bang.

There were several fire dragons that had fallen asleep in the venue, and each dragon looked like a small mountain.

The peregrine falcon landed on a very tall pine tree, staring over there intently.

Of course, there are more dragons than in the original novel, since the number of warriors has increased several times. But there are not 33 dragons, and it seems that there are only seven dragons.

The black Hungarian Horntail can breathe fire up to 50 feet away and is Harry's opponent in the original book;
The extremely aggressive Chinese Fireball Dragon, the agile Swedish Short-nosed Dragon, and the relatively gentle Welsh Green Dragon are all players in the original book.

But at this moment, three uninvited guests have arrived at the venue——

The territorial Scottish Black Dragon with serrated spines on its back; the Romanian Longhorn with two golden horns; and the largest Ukrainian Ironbelly with armor-like defenses.

There are not enough fire dragons for each person to get one, and the rules of the competition should be different from the original book, but as long as you know your opponent's abilities, you can always come up with a way to deal with it.

Wade admired the sleeping dragons for a while, and when he saw that no more dragons were sent over, he was about to go back to the dormitory to sleep, when he suddenly saw something move stealthily in the forest from the corner of his eye.
