Chapter 282

The Cave of End and Beginning

Chapter 282 The Cave of End and Beginning
After learning Animagus, Wade gradually fell in love with this way of traveling.

The damp and cold air in the early morning, the free wind, the city gradually waking up from its sleep, and the countryside that looks like an oil painting from above, all of these are things that humans who usually walk on two legs cannot experience.

Sometimes when we meet an owl, we have a fight with it; sometimes when we run into flocks of pigeons, they scare them and make them fly around in panic, which is also a rare pleasure.

Many well-arranged urban buildings appeared in front of the field of vision.

The Thames River flows quietly, narrow streets and wide squares are interwoven, forming the unique texture of the city; the glass curtain walls reflect the morning sunlight, adding a layer of gorgeous dress to this ancient city.

Weed gradually lowered his altitude, followed the directions, crossed the city center to Surrey, and then found Privet Drive.

Among several rows of identical houses, there is one house decorated in gold and red. There is also a huge lion head inlaid on the wall between the windows on the second floor. It looks vividly as if it will roar at any time.

Wade couldn't help but laugh. He could almost imagine the expressions of the Dursleys when they saw the house.

The peregrine falcon lowered its altitude again and landed in an alley between the houses. Then, a thirteen-year-old boy walked out.

Wade's outfit was nothing special even in an ordinary community. He walked to the front of the unique house and knocked on the door.

Remus came out quickly.

"Good morning, Vader," Remus said cheerfully. "I knew you'd be here soon."

"Good morning, Remus." Wade smiled, "Is Harry here too?"

"not yet……"

Before Remus could finish his words, they both turned their heads at the same time.

"Very good, go ahead—"

In a house not far away, a rude voice shouted loudly:

"You'd better warn those freaks of yours not to visit my house in broad daylight! Or at night! Don't get involved with those evil ways! We are a well-behaved family!"

"Excellent! Why don't you say it yourself?"

Harry shouted, and without waiting for a reply, he quickly ran out of the house and came straight here.

Behind him, Vernon Dursley stood at the door of his house, looking at the people here angrily.

What he had just said was meant for Lupin and Sirius to hear - Vernon was both afraid and disgusted with wizards, and did not dare to talk to them face to face, but he would not pretend to be friendly either.

Their family really didn't want to have anything to do with weird things, but ever since the two wizards moved in, Vernon Dursley was worried that his family would become the talk of others when he walked on the street.

He was disgusted by it.

Harry explained to the Dursleys that Sirius and the others moved here to protect them, but the Dursleys, either unable to understand or unwilling to accept, became even more hostile.

But after yelling, Dursley realized that the person standing there was not only the annoying wizard, but also the child who came to his house last time and threatened to call the police.

Dursley's expression changed slightly, and without saying anything else, he slammed the door.

To the Dursleys, the dark wizards that Harry mentioned seemed like characters in stories, far away from their lives. The police were a real trouble that could arrive at their doorstep in a few minutes.

"Hi, Vader, nice to see you."

Harry seemed quite lively. After saying hello, he asked Lupin, "Is there any breakfast left, Remus?"

"There are sandwiches," said Lupin angrily. "They didn't give you breakfast?"

"Yes." Harry shrugged. "A leaf of lettuce and half a piece of toast. Just enough to keep me from starving to death."

Lupin began to try his luck, and it was obvious that he wanted to curse, but he held back and asked Vader what he wanted to eat.

Naturally, Vader refused.

He didn't ask Harry whether he gave living expenses to the Dursleys - according to the laws and social customs here, the Dursleys were obliged to raise the underage Harry and Dudley, but even if Harry and Dudley were adults and working, they would not need to support the Dursleys, let alone living expenses.

What's more, Harry is still a minor.

Not to mention the many extra chores he had to take on, from a financial perspective alone, the Dursleys received some tax-free benefits and allowances from the government for adopting Harry, and their schooling was completely free, so there was actually not much additional financial burden.

In this case, it would have sounded strange if Wade had suggested that they give the Dursleys living expenses.

……

It was Kreacher who made breakfast today.

After Wade entered the room, the elf even ran out to bow.

It seemed as if it had been specially dressed up. The pillowcase wrapped around its body was clean, and even the white hair inside its ears was combed meticulously.

"Welcome, Master Grey, and Master Potter... breakfast today is porridge and sandwiches. Would you like some baked potatoes?"

"Anything is fine, come on." Harry muttered, "I'm starving."

"Just give me a cup of black tea, Kreacher," said Wade.

The old elf bowed once more before disappearing with a pop.

Soon, the table was piled with food and Wade's tea was ready.

Sirius came back from outside after Harry had finished breakfast.

He was wearing a black suit and a bow tie, with his slightly long hair tied in a low ponytail. He looked elegant yet a little melancholy.

Sirius still had the portrait of Regulus with him.

"This is his last wish." Sirius said in a low voice, "I want him to witness this scene too."

Lupin patted his shoulder wordlessly.

At the appointed time of eleven o'clock, there was a sudden flash of fire in the room, and then Fox suddenly appeared.

It flapped its wings and grasped Sirius's shoulder with one claw.

"Harry, hold on to Sirius!"

Lupin said as he grabbed Sirius' arm while holding Vader tightly with his other hand.

Harry immediately hugged Sirius's other arm, and Kreacher hugged Sirius's left leg without hesitation.

Sirius, who was hung up, had no choice but to reach out and hold Fox's paw. Seeing that they were all ready, Fox made a soft chirping sound.

There was a sudden flash of fire, and Wade only felt a flash before his eyes, and the surrounding environment changed.

In the dark and damp cave, the boundless lake was still as dark as ever, and traces of the last burning of the Yin corpses remained on the wall.

Harry looked around curiously and asked Wade softly, "Is this the place you came to last time?"

Vader nodded, "We found Regulus here."

Harry had heard about that experience, and felt a slight chill on his scalp when he heard it.

Right where they were standing, there were at least several hundred Yin corpses.

Dumbledore stepped out of the darkness, his silver beard seeming to glow.

He took out the locket and whispered, "It starts here... and ends here."
