: The End of the Spell Workshop

Chapter 553: The End of the Spell Workshop

The time was up, the bell rang, and everyone reluctantly put away their wands.

“When is the next event?”

A fifth year Gryffindor asked eagerly.

"Next Friday," Wade said.

"Can I bring my roommate?" Slytherin Astoria asked, raising her arms. "She has a paper tonight and won't be able to come."

"Of course." Wade said, "As I said before, the door to the Spells Study Club is always open. You can come and go as you please."

"That's great, Wade." A male class leader from Ravenclaw ran over, patted Wade on the arm, and said, "We will definitely participate next time."

When we walked out of the activity room, some people were still discussing enthusiastically:

"Did you see, my spell just worked."

"Yeah, but you haven't blocked my grin-hullabaloo yet."

"I'm just not skilled enough! As long as I go back and practice a few more times, the power of the spell will definitely increase!"

"Then let's continue practicing for a while in the lounge?"

"Okay!"

The students walked back to the lounge arm in arm, talking and laughing enthusiastically all the way, sharing their experiences and feelings of success with each other.

As they all walked away, Vader heard someone say loudly, "I never thought learning a spell could be so easy! My mother always told me that I have a talent!"

He lowered his head and smiled, then waved his wand, returning the messy items in the classroom to their proper places.

"Hey, do you want to celebrate? Our first event was a great success." Anthony finished cleaning up, came over and said with a smile, "I put a few bottles of butterbeer in the lounge. I think everyone can have a couple of drinks when we get back."

"Don't think about it." Michael put his hand on his shoulder and said, "Wade will definitely continue to study alchemy, right?"

Wade smiled and said, "I still have something to do, you guys go back first."

"Okay." Anthony didn't force it, and said, "Don't miss curfew."

After several people left, the classroom soon became quiet, with only the candles still burning, casting swaying shadows on the wall.

Vader looked back at the empty podium, extinguished the candle, closed the door and left.

He turned his head to look at the wooden sign hanging on the door. The corridor was already very deserted. The quiet moonlight shone through the window, and a light blue mist seemed to float in the air.

In a trance, Wade seemed to be able to feel that decades ago, the young Tom Riddle was probably like this - walking through this corridor alone on countless nights.

He relied on fear and pure-blood theory to unlock the dark desires of underage students, gave them the power to bully the weak, and gathered his earliest group of followers.

But after graduation, Voldemort did not continue this rule. He went to Borgin and Burke's shop and worked as a humble employee.

Perhaps in Voldemort's heart, the pursuit of immortality and the search for the relics of the four founders are more important. But in the minds of those followers, is this considered a betrayal? The young Grindelwald and Dumbledore are very similar. They are talented, which makes them stand apart from other students. Their pride also makes them unwilling to lower their heads to make friends with others, and they are not interested in winning over mediocre people and engaging in ineffective socializing.

Until Grindelwald found his target, he began to gather followers; but Dumbledore chose to be alone forever because of family and emotional changes.

——What about me?
Wade asked himself in his heart: What do I want to get? What is my goal?
……

The room was completely empty, with only the smoke from the candle rising. After a few seconds, the candle suddenly "whoosh" and began to burn quietly again.

There seemed to be ripples in the air, and in the corner, several figures appeared from invisibility.

"Do you think Wade discovered us just now?" asked Professor McGonagall.

"Haha, you'll have to ask Moody about that," said Professor Flitwick cheerfully. "I saw him deflect a student's spell! That must have given us away! Luckily Vader didn't reveal it!"

"That's a dancing spell!" Moody said glumly. "You can't let me hop around the classroom with a peg leg."

Flitwick didn't care what he said at all. He stood on a table, clapped his hands and said, "What a wonderful class! I almost couldn't help but applaud him several times!"

"It's really unexpected." Professor McGonagall said with a smile of approval, "To be honest, some of Vader's teaching methods are worth learning from - even though I have been teaching Transfiguration for decades."

She walked to the blackboard and looked at the wand trajectory analysis diagram marked with colored chalk.

"These boys are getting anxious." Moody looked at Dumbledore and said, "Perhaps we should also add some content that is useful for the league in our teaching. Other schools do this."

Dumbledore shook his head and said, "No, follow the normal teaching plan. We all know that most students do not have the opportunity to participate in the competition. The wizard level examination is the key to truly affecting their future."

"As for the current craze..." Dumbledore casually flipped through a student's accidentally left note, looked at the densely written words on it, and said, "Once the participating warriors are selected, most students may lose this motivation."

"What about this spell study session of Weed..." Flitwick asked tentatively.

Dumbledore hesitated for a moment before saying, "Go on... He is doing a good job, and the students can learn a lot of useful things. Any interference on our part is unnecessary."

"But Dumbledore, you should know what Fudge thinks of you." Moody said in a deep voice, "He has always been worried that you are training your own army at school. If he knew about this seminar... he would think that you did it."

"Oh, don't worry." Dumbledore took out a honey candy from his pocket and put it in his mouth, and said vaguely: "I have been getting along very well with Cornelius recently."

Moody rolled his eyes. He knew that even people like them could not expect to get Dumbledore's true thoughts out of him.

"Anyway, the league will start soon." Dumbledore looked out the window and said, "This game is definitely not a joke. We must try our best to ensure the safety of the students. This is the most important thing."

"That idiot Fudge is hoping you'll win the trophy back!" said Moody, "so he can put it on his resume!"

"Oh, well... Weed is here... right?" Flitwick said, looking at the others.

Dumbledore was silent for a moment before he said, "If he doesn't really want to participate, don't force him, Filius."

"Of course I wouldn't," said Professor Flitwick. "But we're not the only ones who care about the honor of Hogwarts, Albus."
