Chapter 575
Black Style Training
Chapter 575 Black Style Training
Hogsmeade was shrouded in warm sunshine on Sunday. The golden light shone through the windows, casting mottled shadows in the attic.
Wade climbed out of the disappearing cabinet, turned around and closed the door. He waited for more than ten minutes before he heard a knock on the door from inside.
He opened the cupboard and saw Harry appear inside, breathless.
"Sorry, I'm late." Harry adjusted his crooked glasses and said, "Professor McGonagall stopped me and said there were a few small problems with the homework I wrote last week."
Wade understood: "Were you lazy and didn't look up information when you were writing your paper?"
Harry grimaced. "Just that one time... because it was too late, I was in a hurry to finish my homework, so I finished the paper based on my memory. Who knew that I got two points wrong about the Experimental Transfiguration Prohibition Act."
"Then you should remember next time to at least ask Hermione to check it for you after you finish writing." Wade said as he pushed open the attic door.
The old door hinge made a creaking sound, and soon footsteps were heard on the stairs, followed by Sirius's appearance.
"Ha, my two warriors!" He opened his arms and smiled widely. "Come here! Remus baked a cake, and we have been waiting for you for a long time!"
Harry walked over as usual and gave Sirius a warm hug, while Wade smiled and nodded: "Good afternoon, Sirius."
Lupin also peeked up from the stairs and said gently, "I thought you two would come over this morning! Is there something delaying you?"
"Need I say more?" Sirius winked at his friend and said jokingly, "These warriors are being talked about by the entire wizarding world. I wonder how many beautiful girls would like to say hello to them!"
"We are helping Hagrid with his image transformation. It seems that he has fallen in love with the headmaster of Beauxbatons at first sight."
Harry explained carefully and recounted what they had done together in the morning.
"Hagrid?" Sirius laughed. "That guy finally figured out how to find a girlfriend?"
"I saw a picture of Madame Maxime in the newspaper," said Lupin. "She should be about the same height as Hagrid?"
"That's right." Wade nodded and said, "And he was so elegant that Hagrid was fascinated at first sight."
"That's a great thing. They are probably in the same situation... It's not easy to find someone who can be your partner."
Lupin was genuinely happy for Hagrid, as he always remembered the help Hagrid gave him after he was forced to become a werewolf.
When they got to the living room downstairs, Lupin took out a golden cake from the oven. The aroma of cream and chestnuts immediately filled the air. Sirius directed the teapot to pour everyone a few cups of hot black tea.
Harry sat on the sofa and told the two about the selection scene and the warriors from each school:
"... Viktor, Seraphina, and Papua, they all look very powerful, and most of them are already adults."
"There is someone younger than us, she is a student at the magic institute. It is said that she has been learning magic six years ago and she is very powerful."
"To be honest, I still feel like I was hit in the head by a Bludger. I'm dizzy."
"Don't sell yourself short, Harry, you certainly have talent!"
Sirius patted Harry's back vigorously and said with a smile: "From today on, I will be your opponent and train you in dueling skills. I can also teach you a few spells that I invented when I was young, which are guaranteed to catch your opponent off guard!"
"Sirius, this is a formal competition and it will be broadcast live to the entire wizarding world." Lupin said helplessly, "It would not be a good thing if Harry made a fool of his opponent in public." "Remus, do you think I can only cast embarrassing prank spells?" Sirius asked back unconvinced.
"Okay, my bad." Lupin held up his hands. "I should have thought you wouldn't mess around with Harry."
"...Of course." Sirius said, with a guilty look in his eyes.
"Harry, Vader, you have to be careful of the headmaster of Durmstrang, Igor Karkaroff."
As Lupin was dividing the cake, he said, "Remember? I told you about this man before. He was once a Death Eater. Later, he betrayed his companions during the trial and gained his freedom."
"Everyone knows he's a Death Eater," Harry said glumly, "Then why is he still the headmaster of Durmstrang?"
"That's Durmstrang. Their attitude towards the Dark Arts is different from ours."
Sirius raised his eyebrows and said, "And the other teachers and students of that school must not be careless either. Grindelwald is active there, and his influence must have infiltrated there a long time ago. There may be a few witches among the warriors participating in the competition!"
Wade touched his nose and said, "Perhaps Dumbledore took these issues into consideration and invited Professor Moody to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts at school, right?"
"Of course." Sirius said, "The old Auror's sense of smell is more reliable than a looking glass. But you also have to pay attention to any abnormal situation and don't get close to Durmstrang students casually, understand?"
"understood."
Harry nodded and forked the cake into his mouth.
After dessert, Harry put on his invisibility cloak, Wade used the Disillusionment Charm, and then the four of them came to a clearing in the woods surrounded by ancient oak trees outside the village.
"Vader completed his first Animagus transformation here." Remus patted a big tree next to him and said with emotion: "We almost thought we lost him."
Harry had heard them talk about that experience before, and curiously asked Sirius: "Did you feel the same way back then? Did you forget who you were after you turned into an animal?"
"Not everyone has such a hard time. Wade rushed too fast, so he ran into all kinds of problems."
Sirius explained: "We had been learning Transfiguration for several years, so James and I hardly lost our self-awareness, only Wormtail..."
He paused, his face darkened for a moment, and then he said in a fairly calm tone: "After the guy transformed, he wanted to drill into the hole, and finally recovered with our help."
Harry didn't say anything. After living with Sirius and Lupin, he finally had a home, and the impression of his parents in his heart seemed to fade a little.
In the past, he envied the Dursleys' unconditional love for Dudley, and yearned for his parents, of whom he had no memory. But now, he was also a child who was loved, and he was able to accept the fact that his parents had passed away relatively calmly.
But he knew that Sirius would probably never forget it. Because he had experienced extremely passionate feelings, it was so painful and unforgettable when he lost them.
While Harry was silent, Sirius quickly collected himself.
He clapped his hands, his long black hair flying in the wind, and shouted, "Alright, kids! Are you ready for some special Black training?"
