Chapter 561

: Arrival at Magic School 2

Chapter 561: Arrival at Magic School 2
As everyone's eyes followed the three-headed dragon to the edge of the forbidden forest, a muffled rumbling and sucking sound was heard in the darkness, like some monster gasping.

"In the lake! Look at the lake!" someone shouted.

Suddenly, huge waves appeared on the calm water surface, and a dark sailboat broke out of the water. It was like a legendary ghost ship, dim, eerie, and exuding a decadent smell that made people shudder.

Then, a tall and thin man with long silver-white hair walked down the sailboat with his students and headed towards the castle.

"Dumbledore, my dear old fellow, how are you?"

The man shouted enthusiastically in a sweet voice.

"Excellent, thank you, Professor Karkaroff." Dumbledore replied.

Karkaroff walked up the slope, and when the lights of the castle illuminated him, he also saw Ivan beside Dumbledore, and his face changed slightly.

"Ivan Petrovich." Karkarov's voice seemed to be squeezed out from the cracks. He gritted his teeth and said, "I didn't expect you to come too."

"Are you surprised?" Ivan greeted him enthusiastically and patted Karkarov's shoulder with his huge hand, causing the latter to stagger noticeably.

"Igor, aren't you happy to see an old friend?" Ivan said with a laugh.

Karkaroff's eyes flashed with a hint of gloom, and then he showed a smile without any smile in his eyes: "Old friend... I am of course happy to see you again after such a long time."

Just when the atmosphere seemed a little tense, a strange buzzing sound came from the sky, low and regular, like a huge fan hanging in the sky.

"Merlin's beard, what is that?" a junior student exclaimed, pointing to the sky.

"A fire dragon... no no no, it's a big bird..."

But when the distance got closer, everyone realized that what was flying in the sky was actually a fat helicopter, which was only a dozen meters long from front to back, and the cabin looked like it could only seat one or two people.

The plane landed smoothly, and a line of "Salem College" could be seen glowing on the side. Then the tightly closed cabin door opened, and a tall witch walked out, her dark blue robe embellished with stars and moon symbols.

Following closely behind was a very handsome blond wizard with a sunny smile on his face and a pair of deep eyes that were full of affection when he looked at the Hogwarts Castle.

"Hello, Dumbledore," the witch said, extending her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Me too, Ms. Owens." Dumbledore leaned over and kissed the back of her hand. "Your arrival is truly unexpected."

"The Thunderbird is so arbitrary that it can easily make people dizzy. This plane is our latest achievement." Owens turned around and introduced the young man next to her: "This is Professor Antoine Moreau, who has won three duel competitions."

"Hello, Headmaster Dumbledore." Antoine stepped forward and bowed.

"Welcome, Professor Moreau," said Dumbledore. "I hope you enjoy your stay at Hogwarts."

"I'm looking forward to it too." Antoine's eyes swept across the dark tower of the castle, then glanced at the students standing on the steps, a deep smile in his eyes.

Wade looked away and toward the entrance of the plane, where students from Salem were walking down one after another, their dark purple robes decorated with silver-gray feathered serpent patterns.

Under the guidance of Professor McGonagall, students from several colleges also entered the castle to rest.

"They've all gone to a warmer place, and we still have to stand here to greet them." Michael complained in a low voice: "Can't these people make an appointment to arrive together?"

"Some people like to be the first, while some people feel that the later they come, the more important they appear," said Padma.

Wade shook his wand, and a stream of heat appeared, swirling and warming the ground, and everyone's robes began to flutter.

"Wow, much more comfortable." Fred's voice came from the Gryffindor team: "Great, Wade." The hot wind did not dissipate, but continued to blow. Harry could not help but take his cold hands out of his pockets, facing the warm wind, and said: "I feel like I'm in an oven."

"Oven?" Ron asked puzzledly, "What is that?"

The sky suddenly darkened, and a huge shadow covered the entire lawn. Dumbledore looked at the sky and smiled, "It looks like Mando and Aketim have arrived together."

Many people stretched their necks to look in the sky, but saw nothing except the increasingly thick clouds.

Suddenly, a thick, dark cloud descended. The closer it got to the ground, the lighter its color became, and finally it looked like a bright white cloud.

The clouds parted and an elephant walked out. Its huge paws made almost no sound when they landed on the ground, and its long trunk swayed from time to time.

Behind the elephant is a sedan chair inlaid with many gems and hung with golden bells, which sway with the elephant's footsteps.

Next to the elephant, there was a flying carpet with gorgeous and exquisite patterns. On the carpet were a dozen people. They were wearing colorful silk printed robes, sitting or lying, looking very casual. Leading them was a petite witch with some feather ornaments hanging on her body.

An old man with a kind face and dark skin walked out of the sedan. He was not tall and wore a simple white robe. The students who filed out behind him were also wearing plain white cotton robes.

"Welcome, Professor Usha, Professor Sunil."

Dumbledore waited for the witch named Usha to extend her hand before shaking her hand. Then he leaned over to hug the old man and bent down to touch his cheek.

Usha said, "May peace be upon you, Professor Dumbledore."

"Thank you for accepting my children, Albus," Sunil said. "May the true God bless you."

At this moment, the sound of brisk drums and clacking came from the edge of the forbidden forest in the distance.

With a long whistle, a colorful train broke through the air and came roaring. At the front of the train was a macaw flapping its wings, ready to take off, and behind the train was a silver glow.

The car door opened and a bronze-skinned witch walked out. She was wearing a colorful cloak, several crystal necklaces around her neck, and a slight smile on her face.

"Principal Carvalho!" Dumbledore opened his arms. "Your train is dazzling!"

The witch laughed and gave him a warm kiss on the cheek: "Albus, we've sped up so as not to miss the Hogwarts dinner! Come out now, children!"

She shouted towards the train.

A dozen children jumped off the car briskly. Some of them jumped back into the car as soon as they got out, shouting, "It's so cold, it's freezing!"

Principal Carvalho smiled awkwardly, turned around and kicked all the students off the bus one by one.

Professor McGonagall turned around and saw that Mando and Aketim's students were also shivering with cold. They had underestimated the weather in the Scottish Highlands in late October and didn't even bring a thick cloak.

So Professor McGonagall hurriedly arranged to send students from both schools to the castle.

Before leaving, Principal Carvalho asked, "We're not the last, are we, Albus?"

"Of course not." Dumbledore smiled, "Only Ugadu and the Institute of Magic have not arrived yet, but they will be here any day."

"Oh..." Carvalho raised his eyebrows, not knowing what he was thinking of, and showed a half-smile.
