Chapter 578
Farewell
Chapter 578 Farewell
Vader did not always go with Harry during his training at Hogsmeade.
He had too many classes. Even though he had a time-turner and didn't have to hand in homework for many of his classes, Wade still had to study and research alchemy, make puppets, train, and keep in touch with many people...
He always seems to have not enough time, and sometimes he wishes he had three heads and six arms so he could squeeze out some time.
So while Harry went to train whenever he could, Vader could only go once a week.
When he went to Hogsmeade for the second time, half of his wardrobe was empty - except for the doll Visser, who was exactly like him, all the other humanoid dolls were put out.
The puppets do not have the ability to Apparate. To facilitate movement, each puppet is equipped with a latest model flying broom.
In order to be able to carry the broom with him, Wade cast an invisible extension spell on the pockets.
Disillusionment, shielding and ignoring spells were essential, but considering that the spells might fail if the golem was attacked, Vader bought another batch of invisibility cloaks.
Then came various potions, self-defense items, and communication tools...
While preparing various items, Wade felt like he was sending his child to college.
In terms of personality independence, puppets are not as good as house-elves. They exist as tools from the beginning, just like computers or mobile phones.
There is no flesh and blood in the puppet's body, only various alchemical materials and spells given by Vader. Their thoughts, feelings, and everything that looks like a human are all derived from the creator.
But seeing these figures born from mud and metal flying into the sky, gradually becoming transparent, and soon blending into the night, Wade still felt empty and a little melancholy.
He didn't feel this way when he changed his computer before.
"They're all gone. The Cubes haven't come back yet, and our new friend is gone too." Cloak poked Visser, the puppet next to him, with the corner of his clothes and said, "It looks like we'll just have to depend on each other from now on."
Visser smiled and said, "Isn't there still Michal?"
"Michal beat me yesterday, so it doesn't count!" Cloak said angrily, "Can you help me beat it?"
"…Then I will be melted too." said Visser.
"What are you afraid of? It won't really burn you!" Cloak encouraged, "How about running away after provoking me? I can cover you!"
"Hey, hey, hey, from what you said, how come I seem to have become the main force?" Visser was not fooled and raised his eyebrows and asked, "It wasn't me who got beaten, right?"
The two guys' whispers all fell into Wade's ears, and the emotions choked in his throat were also mixed up into a mess.
"Okay, let's go back quickly." Wade urged, "I have to go back to school early."
After sending all the puppets back to the closet, Wade put away his pencil case and walked towards the brightly lit Hogsmeade. The lights made his shadow very long, and under the different light sources, three or four blurry shadows were projected beside Wade.
Many headmasters of magic schools are in Hogwarts. Even if their level is not as good as Dumbledore, they are much better than ordinary people.
At this time, if Wade turned into a peregrine falcon and went in and out of Hogwarts, he might be mistaken for a student's pet once or twice. But if it happened too often, sooner or later people would find out that there was an unregistered Animagus in this school.
All of these methods, including flying out of the school on a broom or running out of the range of the school's protective spell and using Apparition, are not advisable. The Vanishing Cabinet is the most reliable means of entering and leaving the school.
As for the secret passages in Hogwarts, they were generally not considered by Wade. Not only were the journeys long and time-consuming, but the entrances and exits were often not very hidden.
The biggest annoyance for Vader after becoming a Warrior was that he received too much attention. He had been in school for more than three years, but overnight, it was as if he had become a unicorn who had just entered the school. People always wanted to shake his hand or ask for his autograph on the way.
Students from other magic schools also attend classes at Hogwarts, but they are basically not in the same grade. Except in the great hall and the library, Wade rarely meets them.
……
"Look at this rune shaped like an M, Ansuz, which represents the wisdom and revelation of the gods. It is also related to prophecy and communication... Take note, Mr. Malfoy, there are no runes on my face... Ansuz is often used in educational and learning rituals. It helps people clear their minds and strengthen their memory..."
Professor Bathsheda Baburin was giving a lecture when there was a knock on the door, interrupting her narration.
Professor Baburin frowned and waved her wand, and the door opened. She looked at the sweaty student outside the door and softened her tone: "What's the matter?"
The man standing outside was Anthony Goldstein. He first found Wade with his eyes, then he breathed a sigh of relief and said:
"Excuse me, Professor," he gasped, "Mr. Bagman wants all the warriors to have their picture taken, and I need to take Weed Grey over."
There was a murmur in the classroom, and everyone looked towards Wade.
Professor Baburin frowned slightly, somewhat dissatisfied with the Ministry of Magic officials' choice of class time, then raised his eyes and said:
"In that case, go ahead, Mr. Gray... Remember to bring your things with you. I don't think you will have time to come back to continue your class."
Wade packed his bag and walked out of the classroom.
"I found three classrooms, Wade. Three whole classrooms. How do you arrange your schedule?"
As soon as he went out, Anthony couldn't help but complained with a bitter face: "If I hadn't run into Professor McGonagall, and she said you were probably here, I would have asked Professor Dumbledore to help find you... Now we are definitely going to be late."
"Don't worry." Wade said slowly, "Thirty-three warriors, it will take at least ten minutes just to line up."
"That's true." Anthony relaxed a little and said, "It's not easy to fit so many people into the frame."
When they arrived at the classroom for taking photos, they were the last ones to arrive. However, no one blamed Wade for being late.
Everyone was sitting around doing nothing in the classroom. No one was organizing a photo shoot, but Ludo Bagman, who had asked everyone to gather, was chatting with Rita Skeeter.
Seraphina took the initiative to greet Vader, and then said, "We have to wait a while. The other referees haven't arrived yet."
Wade asked, "Want to take a picture with the referee?"
"Maybe," Seraphina said. "They said they'd need to test the wands."
"Hello, Mr. Gray." Natalia, who was chatting with her companions in the corner, came over and said, "After the photo shoot is over, can I ask you about alchemy?"
"--alchemy?"
Several students from Salem College showed some emotion and looked over here.
