Chapter 485

Harry’s Nightmare

Chapter 485 Harry’s Nightmare

With a loud bang, Sirius was standing on the road in Hogsmeade, with leaves and cockleburs hanging on his body, and his originally decent wizard robe was torn by the bushes.

It was already getting dark and the street lights came on early.

Nearby was the Three Broomsticks pub, from which wafted the aroma of butterbeer and steak.

Sirius was very hungry, so he licked his lips, thinking about the important information he had just overheard, and walked towards Hogwarts without delaying for a second.

This matter is too important, he must report it to Dumbledore in person.

Passing through the winding alleys and walking on the path leading to the school, the surrounding environment gradually became quiet and profound. The woods on both sides of the road reminded Sirius of the process of tracking Wormtail all the way.

He gritted his teeth and seemed to taste the bloody smell of a rat being eaten alive in his mouth.

——Once again, he let that guy escape from under his nose...

When they were in school, Sirius looked down on Wormtail's Animagus form and laughed at him several times.

But when he really met that guy, he realized how troublesome it was when his opponent could turn into a mouse.

Suddenly, something in my pocket started jumping, as if there was a restless rabbit in my pocket.

Sirius took out the communication pea, and the bean immediately became quiet. He put the pea into his ear and heard a thin voice:

"Harry Potter requests to speak... Harry Potter requests to speak..."

If it was someone else who was not important, Sirius would have hung up without hesitation, but since it was Harry's call, he naturally answered it immediately.

"Harry?" Sirius asked with concern, "How have you been lately?"

"It's okay. Although Aunt Petunia asked us to accompany Dudley to lose weight, everyone sent me a lot of snacks. Remus and Wade are here today too. Anyway, I'm not going to starve."

Harry did not complain about the Dursleys' recent outrageous meals. He simply skipped the topic and quickly stated the purpose of his call.

"I had a nightmare, Sirius."

"Nightmare?"

Calling your godfather while he's on an important mission because of a nightmare sounds even more outrageous than being abused by your foster family.

But Sirius didn't think Harry was making too much of a fuss. He asked patiently, "What did you dream about?"

"I, I dreamed..."

Harry stared blankly at the spell book that was thrown on the desk last night, and suddenly forgot what he was about to say.

Everything in the dream faded away quickly like the tide, but before those scenes disappeared completely, the scar on Harry's forehead felt burning, and the intense pain grabbed his memory that was about to disappear.

"I dreamed about Professor Lockhart."

Harry murmured, "He and that man named Gal Trocca in the newspapers... are being tortured by me with the Cruciatus Curse..."

"Wait, by whom?" Sirius felt something was wrong and asked quickly.

"By me..."

Harry also found it incredible. He frowned and tried hard to recall the scene in his dream.

Such a realistic scene, and the heart-wrenching screams, made him almost doubt that he had killed those two people. But what was even more strange was that in the dream, he did not feel any guilt or remorse at all, so cold... cruel... even with a bit of pleasure... as if there was a devil hidden deep in his heart.

Harry swallowed the feeling subconsciously and said vaguely: "I dreamed that I was torturing them... I also thought I saw a big snake..."

Sirius was speechless for a few moments.

Lockhart and Gar... Sirius watched the two of them walk into the old house and never come out again.

Judging from the tone of "Bati", they were probably deceived by Peter Pettigrew and offered as sacrifices to Voldemort.

But... this happened just now, why did Harry see it immediately in his dream?

It sounded like he still saw everything with Voldemort's vision...even Sirius didn't know...what happened to the two men after they entered the house.

This strange situation made Sirius feel extremely uneasy.

His silence made Harry even more uneasy, and he was a little worried that his phone call would make his godfather think that he was noisy and not steady enough.

So Harry added: "When I woke up, my scar started to hurt again - it hadn't hurt for a long time."

Sirius's quick pace suddenly stopped, as if time had frozen. For a long moment he was speechless, with only his slightly trembling breaths remaining.

He vaguely felt that he had caught something... a certain idea flashed through his mind for a moment...

But the inspiration was too short-lived and disappeared before he could grasp it.

In a trance, he felt as if he was standing in a dimly lit room, surrounded by tall bookshelves, with the unique smell of parchment and ink lingering around his nose, and his fingers could feel a delicate and soft touch, even with a hint of warmth.

I could still hear Regulus' childish voice: "Sirius, what are you doing here?"

……

"Sirius? Sirius?"

There was no sound of talking in the communication pea for a long time, only the vague sound of wind could be heard.

Harry took off the communication pea, looked at it suspiciously, then put it back in his ear and called out again, "Sirius?"

"I'm here." Sirius took a deep breath and said, "I'm going to see Dumbledore now. By the way, I'll ask him... to see if he knows why your scar hurts."

Harry was a little embarrassed: "Is it a bit... a bit of a fuss? It only hurt for a few minutes. Maybe it's normal. It's just my psychological effect..."

"No, Harry," said Sirius seriously, "No one in the wizarding world has ever survived a Killing Curse like you have. Any changes associated with that scar are serious!"

"Okay." Harry said insincerely, "It doesn't hurt now...don't worry."

Having said that, Harry actually felt that the pain from the scar was not unimportant.

Sirius didn't say "it's no big deal", but took it very seriously, which made Harry feel very relieved and he let go of his previous worries and heaviness.

He tried to dig out some details from the dream and told Sirius. After ending the call, Harry lay down on the bed again, pulled up the quilt, and fell asleep in a relaxed mood.

Sirius looked at the towering castle with a heavy expression, stretched out his wand and sent a signal to the people inside.

Not long after, Hagrid came over with a lantern and pushed the wooden door open with a creaky sound.
