Weasley: Have fun even in exams

Chapter 342 Weasley: Have fun even in exams
After crying, Neville felt much better.

He apologized to everyone embarrassedly, and everyone just thought that he was too upset by Professor Snape, so they nodded in understanding.

Harry also joined Neville in scolding Snape for a while -

If he was in Gryffindor, he would have received a lot of responses immediately. But at this moment, Neville lowered his head and said little, while Hermione rolled her eyes at Harry.

"Potions is a rigorous subject. Indeed, I also think that Professor Snape is... uh... a little harsh, but being strict is not a bad thing." Hermione said bluntly.

Harry retorted, "So you think he was right to let Radford test the potion?"

Hermione hesitated for a moment, then said hesitantly, "For Professor Snape, he can definitely tell at a glance whether a potion is poisonous or not..."

"Hermione!" said Harry angrily. "We are friends!"

"Perhaps Professor Snape wants to use this method to force Neville to study Potions seriously?"

Padma leaned on her arms and tilted her head and said, "Although it is indeed a bit excessive, even if it is poison, Professor Snape will definitely have a way to save Leif."

"I don't believe Snape is so kind!" Harry said angrily, "He is just bullying Neville! This is too much! I must tell Dumbledore!"

"I'm afraid the headmaster won't interfere with the professor's teaching methods. Think about Lockhart before." Michael said.

Neville was listening silently to this argument which was caused by him but seemed to have nothing to do with him.

He knew that Harry stood on his side not because he could understand the real pain he was feeling, but because Harry was also one of the people being targeted and he hated Snape.

Hermione and Padma objected, not because they had any opinions about themselves, but because they looked at the results objectively and felt that it was just a small matter.

People didn't know Neville's past, nor did they understand his thoughts. Neville didn't intend to open his wounds and tell everyone -

His parents had been tortured to insanity and had been in St. Mungo's Hospital for more than a decade.

The sympathy and the humiliation were equally unbearable for Neville.

But when Wade was silently by his side, he also felt the long-lost comfort and warmth.

Thinking of Vader, Neville realized that he had not heard Vader's voice.

He looked around but saw no one, so he asked Theo next to him, "Where's Wade?"

"He said he had something to do and left first," said Theo.

"Oh."

Neville silently opened his book and prepared to do today's homework.

……

The green liquid in the crucible was bubbling. Wade saw that the time was almost up, so he took it off the fire, stirred it clockwise for a few times, and let it sit for it to cool down.

While waiting, the color of the potion became lighter and lighter, and finally even turned transparent.

Wade filled a small bottle of potion and put it in his pocket. He put the rest in a crystal bottle large enough to store it in the closet space.

Then he took the small bottle of potion, left the Room of Requirement, and walked down the stairs.

It was close to curfew, the corridor was empty, even most of the portraits were asleep, only the torches hanging on the wall were burning quietly.

Vader's footsteps echoed with "empty, empty" sounds, and his shadow was lengthened by the torch, like a strange man with a broad body and thin legs.

The two sneaky figures were frightened by the footsteps and shadows. They scurried behind the statue next to them and huddled together against the wall, their faces almost getting crushed.

Wade was startled when he suddenly saw two names on the statue in the castle. Then he noticed the two figures of the cricket pupae and was speechless. "Fred, George, what are you doing?" Wade asked.

He suddenly spoke, and the twins were startled, but then they saw it was Wade and breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's you, Wade. I thought it was Filch!"

Fred calmly pushed George away and brushed the dirt off his body.

George raised his glass and said enthusiastically, "We're going to have a drink at the Three Broomsticks. Wade, do you want to come?"

Vader shook his head and said, "I have things to do - and isn't this the OWLs year for you? Why are you going out drinking? You don't have classes tomorrow morning?"

"Oh no, Vader! Don't be like Hermione!"

Fred held his head in mock pain: "Even if it's the OWLs year, it can't stop us from pursuing happiness!"

"Anyway, we don't want to join the Ministry of Magic, nor do we aspire to get a few certificates. Study hard, Wade. We're going out to play!"

George said animatedly, and then the two brothers waved together and walked towards the statue of the hunchbacked witch.

Vader heard their voices growing farther and farther away—

"I think I should bring the Marauder's Map with me next time. I was really scared just now!"

"Well - actually Filch doesn't patrol that much nowadays, he's busy playing with crabs at night! He's been seen trying to get the cleaning crabs to learn to clean cups..."

"No wonder our nighttime swimming skills have declined! It turns out that we haven't been chased by Filch for too long - George, I have a brilliant idea -"

"What a coincidence, I also have an idea——"

The two of them went into the secret passage whispering to each other, and there was a faint sound of giggling.

Wade watched them leave, then continued downstairs, walked up a few stone steps, turned a corner, passed the pear painting in the kitchen, and saw a few Hufflepuffs playing with wooden barrels.

Then, in front of him was the door of the Potions Professor's office.

Wade touched the potion in his pocket and raised his hand to knock on the door when it was suddenly opened.

Draco Malfoy walked out with his head down, feeling bitter. He almost bumped into Wade head-on, and he subconsciously took a step back.

"Don't forget to deal with the lovage tomorrow, Mr. Malfoy."

Snape's tone was gentle and polite, but it still made people feel chilly.

Malfoy's face turned dark, and he turned and left without saying a word.

Wade then remembered that Malfoy had been punished with a whole year of detention, and had been helping the professor with work every night. He must have helped Professor Snape process a lot of potion materials.

If Harry and Neville knew that the leech juice they used in the shrinking potion today might have been squeezed out by Malfoy, they would definitely not remember any sad things.

He didn't close the door, so Wade stood at the door, knocked with his fingers, and said, "Professor, can I come in?"

In the office, Snape was waving his wand, returning the clutter on the desk to its original place.

Hearing the voice, he turned around and frowned, "Gray, if I'm not mistaken about the time, now it's..."

He glanced at the time.

"—there's five minutes until curfew?"
