Chapter 551
Spell Workshop
Chapter 551 Spell Workshop
"Midnight Society? That's the name of the original student club, isn't it?" Harry asked. "What do you think they do?"
"He must be studying how to learn just like us!" Michael said disapprovingly.
Padma curled her lips and said, "It's ridiculous that such a club has not continued, but things like the Gobstone Club have been around for many years... What do you think, Hermione?"
Hermione stroked her chin and said thoughtfully, "Establishing a club... seems like a good idea."
"What club?" Padma asked, "Are you going to start a club too?"
"Why not? This is the right thing to do." Hermione said slowly: "Class exploitation is the root of social inequality. Even house-elves should have equal human rights... Slave labor is absolutely wrong and undesirable!"
"What's unacceptable?"
Hermione spoke in a low voice and Padma didn't hear clearly, so she asked again.
Hermione suddenly grabbed her hand and asked with shining eyes: "Padma, if I created a new club, you would definitely join it, right?"
She looked as if she had finally found her purpose in life, but this inexplicable enthusiasm made Padma flinch and utter a weak sound: "...Ah?"
As he spoke, Wade had finished studying the wooden sign, grasped the copper handle, and opened the door.
A herbal scent of magic cleaner wafted into my face. Since the classroom had just been cleaned, the air seemed a little damp.
Perhaps taking into account the need to learn spells, although there is a blackboard in the room, there are no tables or chairs, only a circle of targets around it for practicing spells.
There were already quite a few people in the classroom, and when they heard the door open, they all looked over.
Not only Ravenclaw students were present, but also Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and even Slytherin.
Of course, the Snake Academy had the fewest students. The only one in the same grade, Daphne, who was dragged here by her sister, stood in the corner with a tense face, looking like she didn't want anyone to approach her.
Seeing this crowded scene, several people walking behind Wade subconsciously stopped, as if a little nervous.
"So many people?" Harry swallowed and whispered, "I thought there were only a dozen at most."
There looked to be at least forty or fifty people in the classroom.
"It seems that there are more people who want to learn spells than we expected." Michael stroked his chin and whispered, "Are these guys planning to participate in the league after learning it?"
"Isn't that the same as Wade training his own rivals?" Padma muttered, forgetting what Hermione had just said about forming a club.
After a brief pause, Wade continued to walk forward, and everyone's eyes followed his footsteps.
The students who were able to give up their rest time and rush here were naturally convinced of Wade's level of magic. No one questioned him or challenged him beyond their capabilities.
Compared to Wade, the students present were more nervous and kept making small movements. Some subconsciously pulled their collars, some reached out to smooth out the wrinkles on their clothes, and some unconsciously avoided his sight.
Anthony came over quickly and said happily, "You're here! We've all been waiting for you, Wade." Then he leaned close to Wade and whispered, "These Slytherin classmates are also helping to decorate the classroom. If you spend some time with them, you'll find that not every Slytherin is annoying."
Vader: “…”
In fact, he had no opinion on Slytherin as a whole. He was always targeting the behavior of certain people, not the entire Serpentine House.
But at Hogwarts, any behavior seems to be easily labeled by the house. Even though the situation has improved in the past two years, the opposition and discrimination that have formed over a long period of time are not so easy to eliminate.
Wade nodded at Anthony, then walked through the crowd to the front.
This activity room was like an ordinary classroom, with a platform in front that was raised above the ground. Wade stood on it and turned to face everyone in the classroom.
All eyes were on him. Standing in this position, everyone's faces and expressions seemed blurred; only the light in their eyes was exceptionally clear.
"Good evening, everyone."
Wade tried to speak in a calm tone: "Although we come from different colleges and grades, I think everyone has the same goal here—"
“Master more magical knowledge, improve your spell-casting skills, and win victory and honor for Hogwarts and ourselves in the upcoming magic school league!”
"So in the spell study session, we will also focus on practical spells - armor spell, disarming spell, healing spell, stunning spell, expelling spell... Regardless of whether these spells are beyond your current level, they are the focus of our study."
"But before we begin, we need to make a few rules clear. Anyone who thinks they can't follow them can leave, and anyone who breaks the rules... I will also ask him to leave."
Wade looked around at the expressions of the crowd, paused for a moment, and seeing that no one raised any questions, he continued in a clear and unquestionable voice:
"First, you may not cast spells on other students without permission. You may not use harmful or insulting spells, including playing pranks when others are practicing spells."
Wade's eyes swept over the Weasley twins, and both of them opened their mouths wide, as if their expressions of disbelief were exaggerated and funny.
There were a few chuckles from the crowd, and then it quickly quieted down.
"Second, there is no distinction between colleges here. You may practice with anyone. If you find it difficult to accept, complain, or refuse to cooperate, or quarrel and fight because of practicing spells with each other, or become hostile to each other... I'm sorry, I will ask such people to leave."
Some students looked like they wanted to protest, but when Vader's eyes swept over them, they kept their mouths shut.
Vader simply finished stating the rest of the rules in one breath:
"Third, those who have mastered the spell in advance are obliged to help other students practice, just like I am willing to stand here and help you. The same - regardless of school or grade."
"Fourth, if anyone has doubts about the spells I teach, or thinks there is a better way to learn, you can communicate with me privately, but you are not allowed to interrupt my teaching process at will."
"Fifth, the spell study session is not mandatory. Those who do not want to continue studying can leave at any time. Students who are not standing here today are also welcome to join. But no matter who enters this activity room, they must abide by my rules."
"Is there a problem?"
He glanced at everyone in the classroom, his eyes carrying a power that made the air calm. Everyone unconsciously straightened their backs, and even their breathing became light and slow.
